Hi, my group of small but faithful readers! I would like to say a few things before I introduce my new group of poems. First off, thank you to all the people who read and reviewed my work. I was bouncing up and down in my chair when I saw people had reviewed my story/poems. Thank you, all!!! Also, I would like to recognize Wolvmbm for his/her constructive criticism. I was very insiteful and it impressed me. Kudos for Wolvmbm!!!
Now then...
This is going to be a series of poems from Beast Boy's point of view. They are all going to be pretty short, and are used mainly as writing excersizes for me. If they are below my usual standard, then I apologise now. Also, some of these will not be done in a rhyming format. Too bad, so sad, boo hoo. That kind of poetry is poetry, too. So anyhow, I hope you will enjoy!
FYI: I don't own Teen Titans.
Paw Prints
Dancing paws
Flicker through the air
As I race between
The shadowed trees
This is mine
My meditation
Blurring together
The land passes by
The wolf's paws
Are my paws now, too
Muscles flare with heat
They pull together
I'm running
Away from my life
But it bites my heels
And pulls me back home
But maybe
If I'm fast enough
I can leave my heart
Behind in the woods
Animals
Don't have broken heats
If I live as one
Will mine disappear?
I loved her
We all trusted her
But it was all lies
My heart's in pieces
How could she
Try to kill her friends
After all we did
She tore us apart
And all I'm
Left with is a heart
That is shattered now
And lies in fragments
So I run
Far away from home
Hoping somehow I
Can leave my pain there
But knowing
That when I return
The pain will be there
Of my shattered heart
But I still
Run on, none the less
The pain is better
Then silent bleeding
I run on
In the dark woods
Leaving my paw prints
Behind on the ground.
Beast Boy is using his cute kitten face. He's going "Pease review. You know you can't resist."
