Rise of the Blacks - Harry Potter Challenge
Plot: The Golden Boy that the Death Eaters were expecting to find in the Department of Mysteries was not present. In his place, was something far colder, crueller and hell-bent on their master's death. The Department of Mysteries is the stage for the true Lord Black to reveal himself and fight to bring the world to it's knees under the banner of the Blacks.
Rules:
Dark Lord Harry
Cruel Harry
Powerful and well-versed in Dark Arts, Mind arts and Politics
Slytherin-esque Harry
Born of Black Blood (Upto you how he turns out to be a Black)
Must have at least some initial tension between Harry's new attitude and the 'Light'
New Darker Trio (Upto you if Hermione and Ron continue their friendship with him)
Guidelines:
When he reveals himself, Bellatrix and Lucius follow him as their ties to the Blacks means more than their Dark Mark
Sirius survives
As Lord Black, he gets Sirius' trial for him
Takes "Black" into his name in some form
Sirius had taught Harry his Animagus form before the D.O.M Battle (Upto you how)
If Harry gets sent back to the Dursleys for whatever reason, he must either hurt or kill them
Forbidden:
Light Harry
Joining Tom
Being Weak or Malleable
Having complete trust in Dumbledore (allowed to become tentative allies but not have the same trust as canon)
