Beaten
Sonic jumped over yet another log while swerving around a tree. He groaned in annoyance and looked at the smirking bat sitting on a log a bit back. In that second he hit another tree, making it twang and cover him with leaves.
Shadow snorted next to the human and they high fived.
" How do you run in this?" Sonic shouted in frustration as he picked himself off the ground and shook off any clinging leaves.
" Easy Faker. You don't!" Shadow deadpanned.
By then Rouge was rolling around on the ground in another bought of laughter.
" Well then why don't you try it?" he snarled at Shadow, who smirked in response.
" Fine" he brushed past Sonic and positioned himself at where Sonic started. He started off in a speedy blur and managed to weave and jump through and over the trees like a pro. Once he was at the finish he turned around towards them with his traditional smirk and arms crossed, his eyes lit up in amusement. Rouge watched as Sonic's jaw almost hit the ground, and as Shadow closed it for him muttering something about flies.
