Now don't get me wrong I love the film adaption's of the books but it doesn't half bug me at the end of Prince Caspian when Susan says 'I am 1300 years older than you'. We all know she's not, so I don't know why the writers felt the need to put that in. So this is just my little way of getting the age thing sorted.

Caspian's thoughts were broken by the sound of footsteps behind him. Turning he saw the High King taking the seat behind him that his mentor had not long vacated.
'Susan said a word to you since earlier?' the King enquired.
'Me neither' smiled Peter, after Caspian had shaken his head.
'She's not one to forgive easily' he continued, 'trust me, I've had long enough of her looking at me disapprovingly to know!'
'How long?' asked Caspian, breaking his silence.
The question confused Peter for a moment before he asked why Caspian wanted to know.
'The Professor told me stories about all of you when I was a boy; stories of your reign. I thought you'd…I mean I assumed..' he paused.
'What?' pressed Peter.
'Well….. I thought you'd all be older' he finished lamely.
'We were older' Peter replied with a wry smile.
Caspian looked at him perplexed for a moment before considering his next question.
'How old are you Peter?'
'Not sure really' he said, leaning back against the stone wall thoughtfully, 'around 30 I should think'.
'But you look like you are 16' Caspian exclaimed, his accent thick in his surprise.
'It's complicated' Peter grimaced, 'first we were young, then older and then younger again. When we go back home I suspect we'll be younger than we are now, if only by a couple of weeks'.
Capsian looked at Peter as if he was mad for a moment.
'I'm not sure I quite follow'
'Me neither' smiled Peter sadly.
They lapsed into silence for a moment, both staring out at the forest in the distance.
'Sorry' Caspian uttered, 'for the White Witch'
'I am sorry too' Peter conceded, 'Susan was right, I wasn't thinking in the best interests of Narnia. It's been a while since I was King'
'1300 years!'
'No, just one actually' Peter paused at Caspian's stare, 'I told you it was complicated'.
