I would like to offer my deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of France.

Thanksgiving
America was having second thoughts about spending Thanksgiving with his family. Belgium tripped, injuring France, and Germany cried.
Canada mostly ignored what was happening, but did suggest playing the blame game, which America was thoroughly sick of. Britain started ranting about anything and everything, including the weather.
Worst of all, the Thanksgiving Turkey started gobbling, "I told you so." Then Russia barged in saying, "Vengeance is mine." Which seemed a somewhat blasphemous way to end the prayer.
America offered dessert, "snafu, anybody?" Next year he would spend Thanksgiving with Tony.

They seemed to finally get their priorities straight, now. When I checked cbc on 11/16/2015 the page automatically opened to local, non-Paris related news. When I clicked on the world tab, the lead story was this rather bitter editorial about how it was all the US fault. Today, when I went back to the website, it opened on world and actually gave us the latest on Paris.

I was watching this on 11/16/2015 When Angela Merkel said something along the lines of her tears being with France.
Note: I know that Thanksgiving is not celebrated in most of the world, so please don't tell me.
Notes: I do not intend this to in any way to diminish nor minimize the tragedy. I offer my sympathies to the people of France.
