A/N: Hey everybody! So this is set before 'The Half Spoken' it's Selene showing her feelings to Michael, and how she feels about not being in Eve's life, until recently enjoy.
Selene walked down into the main foyer of the luxurious mansion, she had just gone to wish Eve goodnight and couldn't help but think Eve resented the woman. The vampiress sat down next to Michael and sighed, Michael looked up at her.
"What is it? What's wrong?" The hybrid asked.
"Nothing" she said, Michael gave her a look.
"It's just, I feel like Eve resents me, she seems distant from me". She explained, now it was Michael's turn to sigh.
"Selene, Eve has nothing to resent you for!" He assured her.
"Michael! I couldn't raise her for the first eleven years of her life! I don't know what her first word was, I couldn't see her take her first steps, I never got to experience the pain of childbirth, I couldn't and I feel so guilty about that now". Selene cried, Michael put a comforting arm around her shoulder.
"Hey, it's alright! Maybe she'll tell us these things when she's ready, and we'll be able to be there for that with Jazmyn, Eve loves you and she's grateful to have you". The hybrid explained. Selene kissed him.
"God, i'm so lucky to have you, and I don't even deserve you". She mumbled into his chest.
"I don't know how I even deserve you, I love you Selene". He told his mate.
"I love you too, I just wish that Eve knew how much I cared about her". The vampiress explained, little did they know that Eve had been eves dropping on them.
A/N: I know, probably not my best, but it's Monday! I can't think straight in the beginning of the week, and out of boredom earlier today, I made a vlog, plus cmlginger suggested it, it's called Underworld vs Twilight. Clearly I have no life.
