Trick or Treat

Integra watched glumly as the small figures making house-to-house visits on the streets. She then looked at the moon, a full moon almost glowering at the annoying children and adults alike enjoying Halloween Night.

Next to Christmas and Valentines Day, she hates this. Come to think of it, she hated all occasions because amidst the chaos, preparation and the merry-making the ghouls attack. That's the reason why she dispatched a couple of her most trusted and most dependable men to scout the areas and look for any weird masked men.

Leaning on the window pane with an unlighted cigar at hand, she tried to think ways of lightening her mood. She thought of her childhood and Halloween. No, she never did attend any of the costume parties, she was always in her father's study, nose buried on a book or out on the garden practicing her shooting skills.

Come to think of it, she never lived a normal life.

She gave out a sigh and tossed the cigar on her neatly arranged table. Integra almost felt lonely having no one to pester her around, Alucard after all was one of the men she ad ordered to roam around on the streets.

Suddenly there was a rap on the door.

A frown creased her features. Who could bother her in such a day? In such an hour? Angrily, she yanked opened the door and the first sight that greeted her was the pumpkin basket then the smirk of the one that carries it.

"Trick or Treat, Master"

Integra's eyes widened at the sight of her top agent donned in a black t-shirt and loose jeans. She can't believe this. She backed away and slammed the door on his face.

Alucard being rudely shut off pursued his prey more. He penetrated through the door and approached the annoyed Integra now lighting a cigar.

"Get out." She said coolly.

"Master, it's Halloween." He pronounced.

"And so?"

He grinned, showing his fangs, "Trick or Treat."

Integra sighed, she can't do much about this now. Alucard is as pesky as all the annoying things combined, she might as well indulge into his unusual way of celebrating a mortal's holiday.

"Nice costume." She said honestly.

"Do I look more humanly?" He teased.

Instead of answering, she went to her drawer to get her stash of chocolates. There, that ought to stop him.

He came near her, his front almost pressing on her back, "So master, what would it be Trick or treat?"

She fished out the entire chocolate box and faced him. "Treat, I don't want you both -."

Her words were cut off when Alucard pulled her into his arms and closed his lips around hers for an intimate kiss. Blood rushed to her face and she found herself aching to respond.

And when it was over, Alucard steadied her but before disappearing into the darkness he said. "Thank you, master! Happy Halloween!"

Integra's hand touched her bruised lips, "Happy Halloween." She whispered.
