Hello there! You have probably clicked on this story because you want to get into anime BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW. That's cool. That's why I am here. I feel like we should start of with different types of anime.
Anime are often classified by target demographic, including kodomo (children's), shoujo (girls'), shounen (boys') and a diverse range of genres targeting an adult audience. Shoujo and shounen anime sometimes contain elements popular with children of both girls and guys in an attempt to gain crossover appeal. Adult anime usually have a slower pace or greater plot complexity that younger audiences typically find unappealing, as well as adult themes and situations. A subset of adult anime works feature pornographic elements and are labeled "R18" in Japan, but internationally these works are grouped together under the term hentai (Japanese for "pervert"). There is also ecchi which has sexual innuendos but no actual intercourse scenes. Along the lines of ecchi is fanservice. I hope you know what fanservice is BUT if you don't know: it's basically scenes or things that characters do that please the audience. If there are two guys in an anime that get shipped and it's popular, maybe there will be a scene of them sharing a bed…in a foreign country,,,,, like Australia coughcough rinharu coughcoughrinharualia MOVING ON.
Some kodomo animes are Kodocha, Save Me Lollipop, and Shugo Chara. Apologies because I don't really watch this genre.

SHOUNEN ANIMES. I love shounen animes oh so much. They are wonderful and great and wonderful….. basically I'm obsessed. Here ya go.
