Brooms of all shapes and sizes have been used in Quidditch games through out the years.
But as time goes on the older brooms are being forgotten, and the spot-lights have been cast onto a new age of Brooms headed by the Firebolt. With a streamlined handle of Ash, individual Numbered Plates, able to reach speeds of up to 150 miles an hour, and a unbreakable Braking Charm, it's no wonder the Firebolt is getting some attention.
"It's the best broom I've ever had." Said one Harry Potter, a third year student, and Quidditch Seeker at the Wizarding school of Hogwarts. "Of course," Potter added, "I've only ever had one other broom. A Nimbus 2000. But the Firebolt is amazing..."
But he's not the only Quidditch player to have a Firebolt. Marcus O'Galager of the New Zealand Quidditch Team owns one and says it's "the best buy I've ever made in the way of a broom." In the past brooms have come and gone, some remain classics and some a fleeting memory, part of a fad that lasted only too short a time.
With brooms such as the 1837 classic the Crawler, to the 1909 Speedway, and now to the Firebolt, what does the future of Brooms and Quidditch hold in store for us? Time will tell, and I for one will never forget the day when the Wizarding World got it's first glimpse of a classic-or a passing fad-but always an amazing Broom. The Firebolt. -S. F. A/N: Also, about the formating on this thing, I DO in fact format it, when it's uploaded though it messes up the formating and I'm sorry if it makes it inconvient to read. I write these for both myself and the reader, so we should both enjoy it. I'll try and figure out how to fix the formating in future. -I'm very Sorry for the inconvience-:(
