Chapter 1:
The prince Legolas continued walking along the path further and further into the forest as if nothing had just happened. He couldn't remember which way Gimili had went and was beginning to get nervous being by himself and all. He had also not been able to find Aragorn after he had went after Frodo and Samwise. Gimili and Aragorn had been his center of help when in need, and without them, he might not be able to make it much further.
The amount of orcs he was encountering was becoming more vast and wide spread as time prevailed and the miles he had walked had gotten larger. It seemed he was walking further away from Mt.Doom then he was walking closer to it but he indeed was heading in its direction. He was trying to beat Frodo and Sam there so he could help them prevail, but it didn't seem to be working.
He decided to stop near an old oak tree and take a brief rest and possibly catch a few winks of sleep. He fell asleep after the first few minutes or so but was awaken by the tap of his shoulder. I opened his eyes to see Aragorn and Gimili both in front of him but was startled and let out a loud scream of terror and unwanted surprise.
At that both Gimili and Aragorn let out loud screams of terror. This only went on for a few seconds and then they realized they need to stop this madness. Then Legolas looked at them with wide eyes then let out a few big breaths and got hold of himself and stopped.
"What was that all 'bout?" asked Gimili looking closely at Legolas.
"I didn't expect that to happen, Gimili." he replied in an utmost irritated voice.
"Your lucky all that happened to you was you getting a little shock, you were about to be killed. Sleeping in the middle of the woods. I say we came along at just the right time, an orc and ready to stab you right through the chest when Gimili here luckily threw his axe at it." Aragorn said in a more irritable voice.
Aragorn was never a happy person. People used to say he strides through life to quickly so they nick named him Strider. After his brother Bormoir died in a recent orc attack, he has had an attitude worse than a bull in a rodeo.
"Really Strider, I would've never known if you didn't save me," Legolas sarcastically said "I would've never lived because he wouldn't have awaken me!"
The irritated Strider went on with his story of how he and Gimili met up at the lake Sam and Frodo had left from. They had run after a large group of orcs to where he lay and knocked there heads to the ground. But his did not matter anymore.
What really matters is them beating Sam and Frodo to Mordor and waiting for them at the Tower. So they ran quickly in the direction to Mt.Doom until they came to that same lake. They found a boat about a half a mile to the west. They climbed quickly in and started to paddle. They had to move quickly or they'd never make it in time and Frodo and Sam may end up dead.
As they reached Mordor's edge they began to hear a strange language being spoken over the mountains. It was very hard to make out but Legolas's eyes lit up. The other two couldn't tell if he was scared or what but he spoke to them in a surprised voice.
"I know what the voice is saying! It is the elvish I was taught to speak! It sounds like Sauromaun but any way, it is saying One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, And in the Darkness bind them!" recited Legolas.
