Summary: "They say that once penguins find their mates, they stay with them for the rest of their lives. So, will you be my penguin?" Shannon/OC
Isabella peered silently over Shannon's shoulder. The poor man had spent the entire day researching and researching; the notes he had taken scrawled neatly on lined paper. A look of intent and devotion overwhelmed the teal orbs. He had sat there, only speaking when he found something uniquely interesting and had to alert Isabella. She wasn't annoyed by it, in fact, she found it endearing. Kissing his cheek, she put her hands on her shoulders and massaged gently.
Leaning up, she kissed his forehead. Shannon smiled and tilted his head back to look her in the eyes. "Hey, Izzy."
"Shanny." Isabella replied, enthusiasm enriching her voice. "How's your mission coming along? Big Mac's allowing us to pick a topic for an edangered animal fundraiser and you chose penguins."
Chuckling, Shannon focused his head and twirled in the desk chair to face her. Patting his lap, he motioned for her to sit down. When she rested in his lap, Shannon wrapped his arms loosely around her body and twisted the chair to face the screen again. "Good and your polar bears?"
"Great, I just wanted to take a break and check up on you." Isabella stated quietly. Her eyes diverted to the small pile of dishes left by the computer screen. "So, you've moved?"
Snickering, he stole a kiss from the raven-haired Diva. "Perhaps I did. Good Lord, I've learned so much about penguins."
"Do you mind spreading your knowledge upon me?" Isabella asked sweetly. Turning the best she could so she was straddling him, she trailed her hands up his bare chest and to his neck. Now he could see why so many people called her Penguin. She looked sort of like one; her pale skin in contrast to her black hair and dark wardrobe.
"Penguins are very, very, devoted to their mates. Did you know that when penguins find their mates, they stay with them for the rest of their lives?" Shannon returned her question with another one.
"No, I didn't know that. How did that get brought up?" Her puzzled expression made him laugh as he ran his hands up and down her sides. Leaning up, he captured her lips in a passionate kiss.
Breaking apart, Shannon smiled, "Baby, be my penguin?" He asked.
Isabella smiled and nodded, "Only if you'll be my penguin as well." She murmured as she leaned in, sealing her answer with a deep, passion-filled kiss.
Shannon spoke between breaths. "Always."
"Then I'll forever be yours."
