Godric sat opposite her in a red armchair.

He was wearing an overly-used robe.

The rain poured down from a violet-grey sky.

"I like rain", Helga said.

Godric looked up from his book. "Do you now?"

"Yes." She pulled up a blanket over her chest. Feeling very cozy.

"I like meat."

"Do you now?"

"I also like mead. And bread, and gravy, and beets, and some more meat."

Their eyes meet. "I also like you", he said.

"Do you now…?"

"Yes…"

"You never show it!"

Godric jumped out of his chair. "I do!"

Helga stared at him. "No, you don't."
