Kitty and Red Forman didn't fight often. Sure, they argued and bickered, but they rarely ever fought. Most of the time, their fights where sparked from said arguments and that night's fight wasn't much different. It all started because Kitty was tired of Red not showing his emotions like she wanted him to. He usually only showed his softer side to her and she hated it because she wanted him to show that side of himself to his kids, even if it pained him to do so. The yelling went on for a few minutes before Kitty became dangerously quiet, which usually meant she was so angry that she had nothing else to say. So instead of just waiting there silently for Red to say something, she went about her business and started cleaning the room. She didn't want to leave the room because she wanted to prove her point, but she also didn't want to stand there and do nothing. Red, also wanting to prove his point, reached for the remote control and turned on the television, hoping there was some kind of sports game on. To his disappointment, there wasn't. He knew that it was a sign telling him he needed to make up with his wife, so he took that moment and silently walked up to her. He rested his hand on her butt and waited for a reaction. Immediately, Kitty stood up straight. He kept his hand there. He noticed Kitty was about to say something, so he interrupted her.

"You have a nice ass," he said mockingly. Kitty looked up at Red, who stood tall next to her and tried not to laugh. Before it could get the better of her, she let her hand slide in between her butt and his hand and intertwined her fingers with his. Red recognized the forgiveness in her face and laughed, Kitty's laughter following close behind.

"You're an ass," Kitty said when their laughter died down. She then stood on her tippy toes, wrapped her other arm around Red's neck and planted a soft kiss on his lips. Red let go of Kitty's hand and wrapped it around her waist, along with his other hand. He returned her kiss lovingly.

"I know, but I'm your ass, right?" he asked when they pulled away from each other. Kitty smiled at Red, laughter playing across her lips.

"Of course," Kitty replied as she rested her head on Red's chest. She loved feeling his chest rise with every breath he took. She loved the smell of his clothes, the smell of the cologne he used. She was lucky to have a man like Red in her life, to have a family with him.

Red took this as a cue to start dancing, which he did. But because there wasn't any music, he started singing the song he and Kitty both loved – Fly Me to the Moon.

"Fly me to the moon. Let me play among the stars. Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars," he sang softly in Kitty's ear as he started a slow rhythm of dancing. A smile appeared on Kitty's face immediately as she followed Red's slow and steady rhythm. He had a soothing voice. She often told him so, but his singing voice always struck her. He continued to sing the song as they both danced in rhythm. Eventually he started to hum the song instead of sing, which made Kitty even happier. The soft rumble in his chest was something that soothed her and made her forget about their fight from a few minutes before. When he finished the song, she looked up and gave him a soft and loving smile.

"I love you, sweetheart," she said as she stood on her tippy toes again and kissed Red lovingly.

"I love you too," Red replied as he returned Kitty's loving kiss.
