This is a quick one-shot, sorry if its too short. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Lab Rats...sadly. Disney does.

For the first time in a while, Chase Davenport had to remind himself that he wasn't invincible. None of his sibling were. Contrary to popular belief, they were all still human. They still felt physical pain. They could still get injured. But it had been so long since Chase had gotten a serious injury he had forgotten that he could still get hurt.

A week ago, Mr. Davenport had sent them on a mission to rescue workers from one of his facility's that was collapsing from a severe earthquake. They had gotten there on time, but couldn't get out fast enough. Huge parts of the ceiling had begun to fall and Chase had pushed Adam out of the way of one.

Flashback

Chase saw cracks forming on the ceiling above Adam and tried to warn him. "Adam, watch out!" he yelled. Adam, looked up at him confused and then looked up. By that time, Chase was already running towards him, and tackled him to the ground in time to save Adam, but not his leg. Chase cried out in agony.

Adam watched him with horror. He had just watched his younger brother prepared to sacrifice himself in order to save him. And he watched as a huge slab of concrete crushed his leg. Bree, in the meantime, had been rushing employers to safety. She stopped by them and gasped in horror.

"Chase!" she screamed. She turned to Adam and yelled, "Lift it off his leg. Hurry." Adam rushed to do as he was told. Soon enough, he got the block of concrete off of Chase's leg. Bree fell to his side and looked over his leg. It was bent at an unnatural angle, and was bleeding profusely. She tried to shake him awake, but Chase remained unresponsive. He had blacked out from the pain. She looked at Adam. "He's unconscious." She told Adam to carry him and told him to hold on.

In five seconds, they reached Davenport's mansion.

"Mr. Davenport!" Adam yelled. "Chase needs help."

End of flashback

The day after the mission, Chase had woken up in pain and with a broken leg. Thankfully, his bionics had helped him heal faster. Chase was thankful he didn't have to spend months limping along on a set of crutches. Although he still did walk with a slight limp. It was barely noticeable, but it was enough to remind him and his siblings that they were still human.

This is my first Lab Rats fanfic, and not my best work, but I wanted to try writing a LR fanfic, so sorry if they were OOC. Hope you liked it. Don't forget to review;)
