"iHope that Was For Real"

By chaosbleeds89 (Sasha Horn)

A/N: This is my first "iCarly" fic and my first fic ever on here so I hope it's not too bad.

Summary: Sam and Spencer share an interesting moment before an 'iCarly' show.

It was another night to do iCarly, about another half hour to go. Carly was in the bathroom fixing her hair, Freddie was upstairs working on some new camera angles, and Sam… Sam was on the couch sitting right next to Spencer. Spencer was watching a new wrestling show, and Sam was pretending to be into it. But the only thing she was really watching was Spencer.

She couldn't help it. Why did he have to and be so damn cute all the time? She had been really studying him lately; carefully, quietly, the way his body moved it really turned her on. She got to thinking they weren't sitting that far apart, maybe she could scoot closer.

She bit her lip. Maybe.

She finally worked up the courage and just did it.

Amazingly, Spencer didn't move away or say 'Hey, what are you doing?' or anything. He was just quiet, not saying a word. She could feel her stomach twisting and turning into a million knots at this point.

After a few minutes, Spencer surprised her. He put his arm around her, like it was nothing, and was still being quiet and watching TV.

Sam didn't know what to do. She liked it a lot, it felt great, but didn't know if she should move away or… or…

She sat there and enjoyed it. A small smile played on her features.

Then Spencer turned to her, rubbed her shoulder to get her attention and she looked at him. He wore a sexy smirk that about made her melt.

"I know you weren't paying attention, Sam. Either was I."

Sam's eyes grew wide. She held an expression of mixed shock and excitement.

"Wha.. you…"

Before anything else was said, the bathroom door was opened and Spencer let go. Carly walked out and smoothed her hair.

"Ready, Sam?"

Sam was still confused. "Uh…" She looked at Carly. "Yeah, sure."

Carly gave her friend a quizzical look but said nothing as Sam followed her up the stairs. Sam looked back at Spencer, looking for answers.

He just smiled at her, saying nothing more, and turned back to the TV.

That was nice, he thought, as took a sip of his soda.
