Disclaimer: I sadly do not own Warriors, Erin Hunter does. Also, Winter is owned by the_hawk_arisen c:

"I'm freezing!" Bronzestorm mewed as he padded through the thick layer of cold slush that clung to the ground; that combined with the icy chill that bit at his toes caused him great discomfort.

Ahead of him, Winter turned her head to the side and said in an almost sassy voice, "I can't exactly control the weather, you know. Or the season for that matter. Moving faster could help though."As Bronzestorm locked eyes with the she-cat he was again hit with how contrasting their personalities and looks seemed. While Winter could seemingly melt into the cold environments surroundings with her almost snow-white pelt it was quite the opposite with Bronzestorm.

A dark brown-red pelt with exotic spots to break up color, dark colored claws, a tail that ended in large black stripes, and two large copper, almond shaped eyes, plus a muscular build, Bronzestorm was quite a handsome tom indeed. Yet, perhaps not as stunning as the agile femme who could stalk through the brush like a whisper. It was sure that her ice blue eyes could strike more of a sense of fear than the tom's optics, and that she also had more of a sense of grace.

Putting aside looks, Bronzestorm was a lot more random and centered around fun then Winter. She was often sassy and sarcastic, though in a way, neither actually had those traits. Both had trouble feeling proper emotion. While it was more obvious with the she-cat, it was clear as a shard of ice that something cold was wrapped around the hearts. Perhaps the contrast wasn't so bad, though? The reason the bengal had followed the molly in the first place was because he felt something when around her. Warm.

After a moment or two of consideration of the she-cat's statements the tom suddenly pounced forward toward Winter to knock her down. She gave a quick mewl of surprise as they both tumbled into the brush. Quickly though, she began to playfully fight back and after squirming out from under him managed to pin him down. Triumphantly, she announced, "I think I win this fight if that's all you got?"

Bronzestorm let out a mock growl and used his strength to flip her over.

"I'm not letting you win that eas-" he suddenly stopped talking and let the she-cat get up. He gestured with his tail up towards the sky. What parts they could see between the tree canopies was blocked with dark clouds that were letting snow drift down. There was something oddly captivating about the beggining of the storm. Winter's blue orbs seemed to also hold a little of that sense of wonder but then she muttered, "We'll both be freezing soon, won't we?"

The rogue had a point. They had no shelter and the night was fast approaching, plus the storm.

"Nah, I'll warm you up if you start getting cold," the tom said resolutely. A spark of something shined bright in his eyes as Winter looked around at the perfect time to notice it. She purred.

"And I'll do the same for you."
