Chapter 1: My New Job

Every story has a beginning. Sometimes the beginnings are good and sometimes they are not. But no matter what happens throughout the story it always turns out to be a good ending. The story I am writing right now does not take place at the beginning...

Chapter One:

My new job

Today was August 7th, 2016. The weather in Arkham, Massachusetts was fair that morning. Not too hot but not too cold either. There was one girl that lived in an apartment with four brothers. One was related by blood while the others were adopted. The girl's name was Jessica. Her blood-related brother's name was Adam. Then it was Ross, then Zhao and then the youngest of them all was John. Jessica was the oldest of all of them.

"I can't wait to tell my brothers that I finally got a job. I hope that they will be as happy as I am right now."

About fifteen minutes later Adam walked into the kitchen and started to pour himself some cereal. I went up to him and hugged him.

"I see that you happened to get up really early today Jess. Is there anything exciting happening today?"

"Yes. In a matter of fact, there is something happening today. I got a new job at the Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria that we like to go to. The reason why I decided to work at that place is that certain… Well, you know what has been happening there since the year of 1983."

"Oh", he said.

"I am going to work the night shift from twelve is to six am. I want to know what really happened there. I know that I might get myself in trouble but we all want to know the truth. Am I right?"

"Yes Jess, we all want to know the truth but it can be life-risking", Adam said.

Both of them sat down at the table in the dining room and started to talk some more about the whole situation at the restaurant.

"I know, I know Adam. I know that I can put myself in danger spending my nights at that place but I need to know what happened to her", I said worriedly.

"It's ok Jess. Go find her. I'll tell the others that you signed up for that job. Go see your orientation. Get whatever you need. We'll be here waiting for you."

Thanks, Adam. Your the best."

I hugged him one last time and then went out the door and made my way towards work.

"I hope she doesn't get killed by those bastards. That's the last we need..."

I slowly walked to the main counter of the pizzeria restaurant with my fingers crossed hoping that my orientation would be easy to understand.

"Excuse me, sir, they hired me as the new nighttime security guard and I am here for my orientation."

"You. You're the new nighttime security guard?"

"Yup. That's me," I responded.

"Well, that's kinda funny. We've never had a girl work here before," The man said.

"What are you criticizing me because I'm a girl?" I said.

"No, no, no. That's not what I meant. What I meant was that we never had a girl work the night shift. I didn't mean to be rude or anything like that," he said.

"It's ok. I know that you didn't mean it be rude."

He looked at me nervously and then continued. I could tell that he was a little shy.

"Ok then follow me and I will show you around the place."

I paid really close attention to everything he said so that I didn't have to ask him any questions afterward.

"Well, that's everything you need to know about the place. Do you have any question?" He asked.

"Yes, I have only one. What is your name?"

"My name is Henry Afton. What is yours?"

I looked at him in shock. I didn't expect him to tell me his last name as well. Snapping out of my thoughts I decided that I was only going to tell him my first name.

"My name is Jess", I said calmly.

"Nice to meet you, Jess," he said. "Well anyway here are the keys.

"Thanks, Henry. I really appreciate it," I said.

"Don't mention it," he said

"See you later," I said.

"You take care now. Good luck tonight."

Henry waved goodbye and then went back to work. I had a strange feeling about him. Like as if something bad was going to happen to him.

It was 11:30 PM when I headed out the door and started walking over to the pizzeria. I wasn't used to staying up this late at night. I hoped that I wouldn't fall asleep while I was working.

When I arrived at the pizzeria I went into the backroom and turned on the generator and checked in. I looked at the characters and I noticed something strange about them. I don't know how to describe it but all I know is that something bad was going to happen later on in the future.

I sat down in the office chair and started to look at the cameras. Nothing was happening so I pulled out some colored pencils and my sketch pad. I guess you can say that I was good at drawing. I started to draw one of the characters that were onstage. Bonnie was my favorite. I liked his guitar. When I do art I take it seriously. I get into full details when I draw something or someone and I also make sure that I have the proper colors.

I started to think about the video game called "Five Nights At Freddy's" and I suddenly had an idea. I had that game on my laptop and I was really good at it. I could survive up to four nights without getting caught or running out of power in the game. Night four was very complicated for me. There was a rumor I heard on Reddit that there was going to be seven games in total, four books, and a movie.

It was four o'clock and then I knew it was time to check the monitor. I checked the door lights to see if I could find anything unusual but there was nothing there. I checked the west hall corner and saw Bonnie staring at me through the camera. For some reason, I smiled. I knew that I was going to have fun working here.

I counted down on my fingers from five to zero and then immediately shut the door. Foxy banged on the door four times and then left. Bonnie stared at me in shock. I didn't even look at foxy and I knew how to beat him. The only thing I did to respond to him was smile and wave.

He frowned at me with anger and then left. I started to giggle. For some reason, I like to make people annoyed. Most likely boys. I find it funny the way they react. I'd love to see each and every one of them go crazy. I know what the characters do at night and I know how they move and I know what to do if I was in trouble.

I heard noises in the east hallway and I knew that Chica was making her way towards me.

"I hope that I survive all five nights in one piece. That would be fantastic."

About an hour later Bonnie started to make his way towards me once again. I haven't even looked at the cameras once and I knew how to beat him. I pay really close attention to the sounds they make and the door light will sometimes help me too.

Nearly an hour later I heard really loud footsteps in the west hallway. I knew that Bonnie was under the west hall camera. I had no reason to check on any of the other animatronics for they were all in the main room. I heard more footsteps in the west hall. I turned the light on and saw Bonnie staring at me. I squealed and then shut the door. I started laughing. He stared at me through the window with angry eyes.

"I swear to god if you happen to survive without looking at the monitor all five nights I will go insane!"

Bonnie was really mad now. I knew that he would be feisty due to how things have been going on here at night.

"Well, I'm sorry if I happen to be really good at certain things. Sometimes I just can't help it when I am capable to outsmart people that can be really annoying."

"I am going to kill you if you don't shut up", he said.

"And how are you going to do that exactly? I have the door shut."

I was trying really hard to get on his nerves. Making boys angry was something that I was really good at.

"Well then smartmouth. If you happen to be so good then I would suggest you look at the camera right now", he said.

"I don't trust you one bit."

I turned around and shut the other door. Bonnie looked at me as if he was going crazy.

"What? Did you think that I would fall for a trick like that? I knew Chica was there. She was just taking her time walking very slowly towards the office door for about a half an hour."

"I can't believe you. You're crazy. No, you are more than just crazy. You are mentally crazy."

I knew that he was trying to make me angry. I could tell by the tone of his voice.

"Meh. I've been called worse."

I sat back down in my chair and started to read. I had a book with me called "Forest Of Ruin" to keep me busy. It was about dragons and a kingdom that was at war.

"We will get you. You better remember that."

I wasn't paying any attention to him. I started to mimic with my hands everything he was saying to me. When he noticed that I was ignoring him he turned around and left. As soon as he was long gone I opened both doors and started laughing.

The clock struck 6:00 AM almost ten minutes later and I immediately left...
