Elijah's words was repeating in Hayley's mind. She was laying on her bed, she still couldn't believe she did not reply his words.

After 8 years of knowing him, caring for him, hating him and loving him, when he finally told her that he loved her the only thing she had been able to do was freezing.

She didn't want to leave her bed but she knew she had to. So she stood up and walked downstairs, she went on the kitchen and found Hope with her aunties. She smiled and kissed her little girl's head.

"Good morning baby girl." She smiled at Freya and Rebekah.

"morning Hayley." Rebekah said smiling.

"mm it's smelling good what are you all eating?"

"pancakes with chocolate and banana." said a man's voice from behind Hayley.

She immediately recognize whose voice it was, it was Elijah's. And once again she froze, but shook her head and turned around. She looked at him, he was looking at her as well with his pretty smile. Her eyes flew to his lips, she looked away before that anyone notice.

"good morning Elijah, how was your night?"

"I had better ones." She knew it was her fault that Elijah spent a bad night. At least this is what she thought.

Rebekah noticed the awkwardness between Elijah and Hayley.

"Anyway guys, me and Freya are gonna take Hope for the day, we have many things to do."

Freya looked at Rebekah frowning. "we do?"

Rebekah stared at her sister with big eyes. "Yes we do, remember?"

"Oh I remember now." said Freya.

"what about Klaus?" Hayley asked. "I thought he would want to spend the day with Hope." Rebekah stood up. "he will, he left earlier this morning with Kol. They went to a witch for god knows why, we will go to them." Wait what? Did I hear well? Am I really gonna spend the day alone with Elijah? Hayley thought to herself.

"oh well," she kissed Hope's head again. "have a nice day sweetie."

"you too momma!" Rebekah took Hope and left the compound with Freya, which means that Hayley and Elijah were left alone.

She looked at him, before leaving the room. But Elijah grabbed her arm and pulled her to him. She looked at him in the eyes.

"Are we gonna talk about what happened last night?" He asked.

"Elijah.. I'm sorry.. I was surprised."

He frowned "surprised?"

she nodded. "Yes, it does 8 years that I know you. And I've always cared for you, like I've told you I felt everything for you and I did not let you express your feelings because I knew I wouldn't have got married to him. But I wasn't expecting for you to tell me this after 8 years.. the thing is that I love you Elijah I've always loved you and I will always."

He didn't need to hear more. His lips met hers in a soft but lovingly kiss.

She whispered against his lips."you're back, and you're mine." He immediately said with a smile.

"I'm yours and you're mine." she smiled and repeated his word. "I'm yours."

He kissed her lips again and smiled. He picked her up in a bridal way. she immediately wrapped her arms around his neck with a soft laugh. "what are you doing?"

"Carrying you somewhere?" A big smile appearing on her face. "Where?"

He smiled and didn't give her an answer as he walked them out of the compound. Hayley frowned when she saw that he was walking them to an abandoned house. He stopped walking and put her down.

"What are we doing in this abandoned house?" He took her hand and walked in with her.

Suddenly she gasped when she saw that the house was fully decorated.

"Wow, it's beautiful Elijah. I didn't think it'd be this beautiful."

He smiled. "Never judge a book by it's cover." He kissed her cheek and took her other hand looking deeply in her eyes. "Hayley, I know that yesterday you didn't expect me to tell you I love you it was all sudden."

She looked at him nodding. "I'm still sorry about this.. I love you too Elijah."

He smiled and kissed her softly. "Marry me." Elijah said.

"What?"

He looked in her eyes still. "I love you Hayley, I've already lost you once to someone else I don't wanna let it happen again.. Perhaps we will spend our forever together and I want to be with you in every way and this house would be our house. I know I have lost my chance so many time but Hayley Marshall will you marry me?"
