It was six o'clock in the morning in Santa's Village. All were asleep.
Rudolph was the first one up. He rolled over on his side to see Zoey sleeping soundly next to him.
He got up out of his bed quietly so he wouldn't wake her up. He kissed her cheek softly and got in the shower.
As he turned on the water, the buck smiled as he remembered what had happened the evening before.
...
13 hours earlier...
At 4 o'clock in the afternoon Rudolph sat in front of the fire, thoughts of Zoey swirling through his mind. His and Zoey's parents were gone for the week, so he had asked her to come over to his house for a few nights.
There was a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" Rudolph asked.
"It's Zoey."
When he opened the door, the beautiful doe was standing there with a smile on her face. Her beautiful smile caused Rudolph himself to smile.
"Hi, Zoey." he said.
"Hi, Rudolph."
"Come in."
As she entered, they both sat down on the hay in front of the fire.
Rudolph scooted closer to her.
Zoey adored him. His sweet brown eyes looked at her in a loving way. She was completely lost in admiring him; his strength, his hair, his beautiful red nose, his warmth.
Rudolph was lost in looking at Zoey's scintillating eyes, her soft fur.
Rudolph then wrapped his foreleg around her.
"Zoey, I've never seen someone as beautiful as you when you sit in front of light." he said.
She blushed.
"Uh, Rudolph, why did you invite me here anyway?"
Rudolph remembered why, and then took a deep breath. "Zoey, the reason why I invited you here is to tell you that I..." he stammered. "Zoey, I love you."
At that moment, Zoey couldn't say a thing.
Rudolph continued. "Zoey, whenever I'm around you, it fills in a part of me that is missing when you aren't around. You're the one thing that has kept me alive."
Zoey was about to cry. "Rudolph, I...love you, too."
At that moment, Rudolph felt a surge of energy go through his body. And it was enough for him to lean in and kiss Zoey on her full mouth.
Zoey was shocked by the suddenness of it. But it was almost as if the surge of energy in Rudolph passed into her, for as soon as he planted his mouth on hers, she immediately placed her hoof on the back of his neck and deepened the kiss.
They moaned and rolled around happily. Then the stood up and Rudolph pulled Zoey into his room where they increased the passion. Rudolph pushed Zoey down onto the bed, where they began to make crazy love. Rudolph ventured his tongue into Zoey's open mouth, and he battled hers.
Then, he pulled away and began kissing her cheeks and the soft fur on her neck. She moaned in pleasure, which just increased Rudolph's desire to give her more. He then locked lips with her again. It was powerful. This kiss made them realize what the missing part in their lives was. Rudolph was shrouded by a feeling of overwhelming passionate, lustful thoughts that were telling him he found the right doe. Zoey, on the other hand, couldn't have felt more happy.
When they broke apart, Rudolph stared into his new doefriend's eyes.
"I guess this means we're a couple now." he said.
Zoey smiled. "This is the greatest day of my life."
"You're beautiful, Zoey," Rudolph said, his nose faintly glowing, "I couldn't live without you."
She pulled him in. "I couldn't either." she said before giving him a small kiss.
...
Present
Rudolph stepped out of the shower and dried off. That was his first time experiencing actual love, and he enjoyed it.
He crawled back into bed next to his love.
She opened up her eyes.
"Morning, beautiful." Rudolph said softly.
"Morning, Rudolph." she said.
He gave her a small peck.
"What will the others think of us together?" she asked.
He kissed her forehead. "I don't care what they think as long as we're with each other."
Then they drifted off to sleep, with Rudolph holding Zoey in his strong arms.
