When I took my water divination something strange happened. Usually when somebody does this to test what category and type of nen they have. There are five main categories of nen.
One being conjuring, when impurities appear in the water, the user is called a conjurer .
If the colour of the water changes then they are an emitter.
When the volume of the water increases then the nen user is called an enhancer.
If the leaf moves, manipulater, waters taste changes then that person is a transmuter.
When I took the test however I found myself into a whole other category called specialist. Using my ren on the glass of water caused something entirely out of the ordinary. The waters volume decreased until it was only a drop and then a little stem started to grow, then a flower bud appeared but right as the flower ,what looked to be a diasy, could finish blooming I burst into flames.
The flower didn't burn though, didn't turn to ash either. Just kept burning and as the flames got bigger I started to panic causing the flames to break the glass and when it shattered water poured out onto the table and floor of my nen masters apartment dining room.
Needless to say she was shocked. Making a few calls and packing some bags she took me to what i was told was a testing site. Not until I completed this series of tests did i find I had taken the Hunter's Exam being not the youngest but second youngest to pass me being only thirteen at the time.
I spoke to a rather lively older gentleman and he ended up taking me under his wings where I would stay until I would become nineteen before going on an adventure with no fear of death ever coming to me for my special nen ability became immortality.
