"Ally?Sweetie, come downstairs your father and I have a very important announcement to make!"My mother shouts, I neatly close up the wonderful book I was reading and make my way downstairs to the living room.
"Yes mother?Yes father?Whats this very important announcement you have to make?"I asked. My mother and father exchange nervous looks. My mother takes a deep breath and bites her lip.
"Well your father and I have been thinking and we think that its best we uh...get away..."My mother says.
"Like a vacation?"I excitedly said."Can I bring Rosa?Where are we going?How long are we gonna be gone?Can we go to the Bahamas?Oh I heard their beaches are gorgeous!Or maybe New york, we can visit the empire state building maybe the statue of liberty-OH maybe we can-"My father quickly cut me off
"No,no,no Ally not vacation."He said. I gave my parents a confused look.
"Well then where are we going?"I asked.
"To Ohio."My father said.
"OHIO?!But,but,but,but were rich not poor!"I shouted."Poor people live in Ohio and incase you forgot and I will happily remind you,WERE NOT POOR"I yelled.
"Ally stop it!"My mother scolded."Your father and I decided it together and we decided its best to live in Ohio,we want you to have a normal life,not a "rich girl"life."
"But I like having a rich girl life."I pouted.
My father sighed."Told you we shouldn't have told her."My father muttered.
"Cant we just stay here in our beautiful beach house?I love this place, I grew up in this place-"
"We moved here 10 months ago."My mother said. I glared.
"10 months is a lot Mother!"I growled.
"Ally!Stop being a big drama queen and start packing,were leaving tomorrow."My eyes grew wide and I jumped up from the couch.
"TOMORROW!" I shouted.
"Start packing."My mother smiled.
I looked at them for a moment and growled. I turned around and stomped up to my room, dramatically slamming my door. I walked to my bed and sat down with my arms crossed and pouting.
"Stupid parents!"I muttered."Stupid Ohio...Stupid poor people...STUPID NORMAL LIFE"
"START PACKING!"My mother shouted. I grabbed my pillow and yelled into it.
"You know we can still stay here,mom."I said while my parents loaded up our minivan."Its not too late,mom."I said.
"No we cant.'She said putting the luggage inside."And yes it is."She said when she was done.
"Fine then!"I pouted."I'm not talking to you guys ever again."I crossed my arms and looked the other way.
"mhm,yea your not gonna talk to us ever again?"My father teased. I shook my head.
I zipped my lips and threw away the imaginary key.
"Yes you will."My mother said.
"No I wont-DANG IT!"I sighed.
"Don't worry honey."My mother softly said."Its not as bad as you think it is.". I nodded
"I know,but...All my friends are here, school,my favorite hang out place,everything."I sighed.
"And you can make those things in Ohio,plus maybe you will like it better then over here."My mother winked. I playfully rolled my eyes. She smiled and kissed my forehead.
"Come on lets go!"My father whined from the drivers seat.
"Lester!Cant you see me and Ally are having a moment?"My mother said.
"But I'm hungryyyy."He whined.
"Well you should've ate."My mother said.
"YOU PACKED ALL THE FOOD!"He shouted. My mother exhaled and closed her eyes.
"Come on."She softly said. She kissed my forehead and made her way to the passenger seat. I turn around and look at the beach house.
"Good bye beach house."I said sadly. I walked over to the backseat of the car and placed my hand on the handle,but before I opened up the door and entered the car I whispered."Goodbye rich girl."
