What a way to escape a deathtrap
Ranil had to chuckle between the stalker and both the grineer and corprus fleets he had been forced to take a blind jump but following him would be suicide though his ship had barely survived itself "Ordis damage report" the cephalon was slow to respond which worried him "O...Operator engines one through three offline and severely damaged engine four...screwed...barely functioning, life support minimal foundry offline " Ranil frowned "The arsenal?" Ordis powered it up "Online... sensors indicate a habitable world with signs of civilization nearby shall I set a course operator?" Ranil almost smiled at this "Yes find somewhere near a city but in the wilds to land then begin repairs" he then entered his arsenal picking his chroma prime equipping it with Tigris prime akjagara prime and Gram prime chroma was colored black and red with dark blue (electricity) lights with jade green accents he then stepped out of the armory "Ordis run a scan I want to know what's out there while I secure the area" the cephalon agreed and Ranil disembarked into a small clearing in the forest and proceeded to check the area placing a turret for ordis to use for defense here and there to defend his orbiter As he turned the head of another of the bear-like beasts into mist "Ordis run a scan on these creatures something seems off about them" he then shoved the barrel of the Tigris into the snarling maw of a wolf-like beast before coating the tree behind it with its brains"operator it seems that mist is dispersing simular to infested spores yet they do not seem to be hazardous" Ranil frowned "Should I be concerned?"he said as a boar-like beast fried itself upon striking him "no operator they seem to converge quite a ways away" Ranil chuckled as a bear-like beast struck him only to be fried by a lightning bolt a second later "These things are not very bright it seems" just then ordis said something that got his attention"operator scans have detected several life forms approaching a nearby ridge" Ranil smirked "Deploy my archwing and get those turrets ready just in case this does not go well "
As his archwing connected to the large warframe he took to the air "Prepare for a quick analysis of their language ordis" he then came to a stop as he saw several people who looked barely older then he did get launched into the forest "Well that's new perhaps I should ..what the" At that moment a blur slammed into him causing him to hold onto whatever struck him only to chuckle to himself as he looked at a young girl in black and red looking up with a shocked look so he floats down dropping her onto her feet before his archwing disconnects and he wills himself out of the armor appearing before a stunned girl with a wave of his hand "See you cutie" before seemingly being sucked back into the armor and drawing a large gun He then turned and jumped into the air the archwing quickly reattaching as he takes off for the cliff briefly looking back to see the girl start running towards some ruins in the distance "Ordis you got a sample of their language yet ?" the cephalon had been scanning signals from across the planet by now"Operator the patterns are very similar to English a language once spoken on earth so I can easily translate with only a small margin for error" Raynil was surprised but didn't let it get to him "So we may be dealing with the orokin or a lost colony that has developed on its own" he then spotted two people upon the ridge and made his decent disconnecting his archwing and landing softly despite the size of the frame Ozpin and Glenda were shocked and unsure of what to make of the large armored person before them and as it turned they felt more and more unsure of if it was an armored person considering it was black and red then they say a few patches of dark jade green and relaxed slightly upon realizing it wasn't a Grimm when from the armor came a swirling void and from within the void was a young man that looked around sixteen or seventeen who then spoke softly "Greetings I am Raynil and I would like to learn where I am and what is going on also, why would you throw children into danger like that"
To say they were shocked would be an understatement this young boy spoke as if he was not a child himself but they could also sense the raw power within the boy just then their scrolls went off signaling trouble "While we would love to have a talk and exchange info our students are possibly in over their heads" they then showed both a massive bird to Raynil along with an extremely large scorpion "We did not foresee two Grimm of this size being present for their initiation test" Raynil chuckled "I will provide aid in exchange for information then " And with that, the boy withdrew into the armor in a swirling void before the armor performed an upwards leap that seemed to defy gravity as a small pair of wings attached themselves to the armor and the figure streaked off with a sonic boom they then watched on their scrolls as in seconds he arrives and proceeded to blow a wing off the nevermore with a single blast from his odd shotgun before he landed in front of the Deathstalker and in one motion drew a massive blade while simultaneously slicing the scorpion Grimm in two before turning taking two steps and beheading the nevermore with the same ease stunning both the students and Ozpin and Glynda he then motions for them to go and escorts the eight students back to the cliff taking out several beowolves on the way. upon arrival, he simply nodded and said "I'll be in touch soon" before making a leap off the cliff and vanishing into the woods
The next morning He landed in the academies courtyard and proceeded to watch the sunrise while sitting on his warframes shoulder Ranil chuckled as he sensed the two from the ridge approach "It is a very beautiful sight the sunrise" Ozpin smiled "That it can be young man" Ranil broke out laughing "I suppose my body is Rather young considering though at the same time I fought against the orokin several thousand years ago" that statement made Glynda's eyes go wide while Ozpin spit out a mouth full of coffee "Surely you are kidding?" Glynda asked "Nope the wonders of cryo sleep we, tenno, tend to sleep for centuries when not needed" Ranil smiled before looking to Glynda "If you would do not mind I am curious about what you do here" Ozpin beams with pride as he spoke "This is beacon academy where we train huntsmen and huntresses to protect the people of remnant" Ranil cocked his head to the side "So this world is called remnant and you train these children to fight what exactly" Glynda pulled out her scroll and pulled up a picture of a Beowolf "We teach them to fight and slay the Grimm this is a Beowolf one of the species of Grimm" Ranil saw the image and smirked "so that's what those are well I think I lost count of the number of those I removed from this world and the bear-like ones were not any tougher in the end so I suppose helping out in exchange for materials to repair my ship with wouldn't be too hard" Ozpin couldn't help but wonder just how advanced these tenno were "Just where are you're people from and how much more advanced could you be? " Ranil smiled as he pointed to the sky "my 'people' come from a different world and if I hazard a guess we are at least several hundred years more advanced" Ozpins eyes widened a small amount before he calmly asked "Would you be willing to show us how capable you are so we can evaluate how best you can help us" Ranil smirked "I do not mind a bit of an exhibition match" Ozpin smiled "We will get to work on the preparations" with that they watched the boy vanish into the armor again before he leaped straight up and a small craft attached to his back and he flew off with a small boom
