I'm sorry I haven't written anything in months. I fell into like, twelve different fandoms and got Pokemon X for Christmas so that's been taking up a lot of my time. I fell into the MOTHER fandom sometime before Christmas And this came to my head toady.
Enjoy.
[EDIT] thank you, DatLittleStar for reminding me that Ninten's scarf/bandanna/thing is red, not yellow.
[EDIT 2] thank you, Twilit Smash Nova for pointing out a pair of typos in the final segment.
Lucas' bright blue eyes greeted the bright blue sky. Sunflowers stretched out before him reaching for the sun.
Lucas stood up.
He had fallen from that huge flying thing. Their weight had been too much for Rope Snake to handle.
A fall from that height should've killed him.
Fear.
"Duster!? kumatora!? Boney!?" He called. After repeating this for several minutes the fear and loneliness was too much for Lucas to bear.
Lucas fell to his knees and was about to cry when something incredibly odd happened. A breeze blew over the field and a hand landed on his shoulder.
Lucas turned, teary eyed, towards the newcomer.
A boy with smooth black hair and dark brown eyes was smiling at him. He was wearing a tricolor striped shirt and had a strange hat that was only brimmed on one side. A red bandanna was tied around his neck.
"Hey kid. Chin up. No crying until The Ending."
Lucas simply stared at the strange boy for long time. But it seemed like only a second had passed before a sharp bark made him reel and take in the sight of his dog running towards him.
"Boney!" He embraced the dog but not a single tear slipped down his face.
He turned to where the boy was, curious of the boy's name. But the boy had disappeared leaving nothing but a breeze.
There was now a figure in the distance. A figure in a red dress.
"Mom?"
Aeolia. Doria. Lydia. Phrygia. Mixolydia. Ionia.
The magypsies. Almost all of them were gone.
Ionia.
Ionia. She was weird, but she was always ready to help them if they needed her. Even in her dying breaths she taught Kumatora PK Starstorm.
Ionia was his favorite magypsy. But simply saying that didn't give her an ounce of justice.
Ionia was his friend.
Tears stung at his sorrowful eyes. But before they could fall a gentle breeze blew and a boy his age with messy black hair appeared. He was smiling kindly and his violet-blue eyes were full of empathy. Like the first boy he had a strange hat but his shirt was just dark blue and yellow striped. Strangely enough, looking at him made him think of the yo-yo that Lil' Miss Marshmallow had guarded.
"Hey kid. It'll be okay. Okay? It's not The End yet. So don't cry, okay?" The boy asked nicely.
Lucas nodded and forced his eyes to stop watering. It was hard but the tears finally stopped threatening to fall.
He had to find the last Needle before the Pigmasks.

You're hugging me again. Please don't go this time. Please don't go. Don't go. Please. Stay this time.
"Claus."
"Shh Lucas. This is it. The Ending. You can cry now Lucas. Let it all out. Let it all out."
