The Promise
I met you out there on the sea
And suddenly you set me free
Free, from everything I use to know
You taught me how to live
And how to fly
And as the ship rose into the sky
You were standing there right by my side
I made you a promise
That I'll never let go
I never let go: I kept it
You were safe in my memories
I never told and I never let go
Now as death shines upon me
The seas part once more
Cause there you are standing
And we are on the ship once more
