Everyone was surrounded around the toddler bed (even Jacob, must to Rose's distaste) to wake Neisse up! It's not like we do this EVERY DAY, but on special days we do, and today was a VERY special day, IT WAS HER FRIST BIRTHDAY! I can still vividly remember when I confronted Bella a couple of weeks ago…
Flashback,
"Hey, Bella, what do you want Neisse's party to be, Pretty Princes-"
"Wait a minute, Alice; I want her to have a nice sit down dinner with presents and cake, if she wants it." She informed me. I'm not having my niece's first birthday party doing nothing special!
"Oh, well, I guess it's up to Ness to forgive you for more or less forgetting her birthday." I sighed. I knew the exact cards to play.
"O.K. Fine!" Bella said giving up "Just make sure that Renesmee is happy." She said firmly.
"OH, THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU!" I squealed running up and pecking her on the cheek. I knew that THIS was going to be fun!
Now, everything was in place, everyone was in costume, Queen Esme, King Carlisle, Prince Edward, Princess Bella, Princess Rosalie, Prince Jasper, Court Jester Emmett, butler Jacob, Princess Alice, and I have Ness's outfit on the edge of the bed, it looked like Cinderella's dress, except it was a higher quality than the ones that you buy at the store.
I did the countdown on my fingers 1-2-3 "WAKE UP NEISSE!" we all shouted in unison. The little girl woke with a start.
"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" squealed the little girl.
"Yes it is my little girl!" Edward said picking up the girl.
"DADDY!" She squealed.
We got her dressed up and down to breakfast. Then I sat her in front of the vanity and starting to curl her long bronze hair, and I put on just a touch of make-up (don't tell Edward or Bella) .
Then she was ready for the party. I walked her to the stairs where she flung herself into Jacob's arms, and all of the other people, vampires, humans, and werewolves alike all called out
"All Hail Princess Renesmee!"
