Death of Minmei Haikus
Ziggy's Corner: I just want to say that I have been a Robotech fan ever since I was in fourth grade all the way back in 1984. Back when I first watched it, I wanted this character to seriously be my big sister. I mean, completely seriously! I even got so nuts I was counting the days till 1999 when the Zentrati craft that would become the SDF-1 crash landed on the planet, just to see if something like that would really happen (hey I said I went nuts). But as Cartoon Network aired the show, and I was older, I couldn't stop comparing her to a Brittney Spears wanna be. She got so annoying, that I even considered making a web site called, die Menmei But since I didn't know much of the web, I decided the best way to vent was like this. As I have less and less to write, I'll add series to this anime link, but for now, this poem and anything that comes after it are all one shots. Anyway Minmei fans be warned, this isn't very nice (I apologize to your group in advance. But no apologies to her), and anti-Minmei fans, enjoy!
1. The skanky girl sings,
A Veritech steps on her,
Minmei is a blotch.
2. Rick pushes the knob
The torpedo tube opens
Minmei is in space.
3. Minmei eats her lunch,
Minmei starts to choke on ham,
I laugh very loudly.
4. The wind blows very hard
The old tree swings back and forth
Minmei is impaled.
Okay, there it is. Short, but to the point. (Apologies to Momma Cass fans for the number three haiku, but I thought Minmei deserved this fate). I am probably going to get some hateful reviews from pro-Minmei people, but I hope we can all look at this and laugh. I'm pretty sure some of you fellow anti-Minmei folks will get a chuckle at the very least. If you want a sequel all you have to do is ask, I'll be very willing. See ya!
