Hi, everybody! For those of you who know me, you know that I tend to get into shows after they're over, close to the end, or on the finale. For those of you who don't know me, I am obsessedwithstabler, and I'm addicted to Bones. LOL. I recently started watching, and only today finished buying all available seasons. My favorite episodes so far are probably the ones involving Gravedigger, and the one where Booth is shot. My poor baby! And those of you who are also SVU fans, he's another El!! The bubble boys!! LOL. This is my first attempt at a story for Bones, and let me say now that I know about Angela's gf, but I refuse to give up on her and Hodgins. And I know about Bones wanting a baby. Enough rambling. Enjoy, and please review!

Disclaimer: Not mine. If it was, the season four finale would have been REAL! REAAAAAL!

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

Jack Hodgins didn't like hospitals. Something about the smell of antiseptic soap mixed with death and dying got to him. It didn't matter that he worked with this kind of thing every day. It still got to him.

He made his way upstairs and was surprised when someone snuck up behind him and a pair of arms slipped around his waist. He smirked. "Be glad I'm not Special Ops, Ang," he said, turning around and dropping a kiss on her forehead.

She playfully hit his stomach, then pulled her husband along. "Come on. You're already late."

He shook his head, biting his tongue. It figured, the one time he was late, she would notice. Never mind the two hundred thousand times she had been late. He simply followed her to the nauseatingly bright maternity ward. "So, what is it?"

"A girl." She dragged him to the nursery window and pointed to the glass. "Third baby from the right."

He pressed against the glass and watched the wrinkly, squirmy, red newborn. "Cute, I guess."

Angela glared at him. "She's beautiful, Jack."

He turned and looked at her. "No, you're beautiful. That's an alien."

"Don't call my daughter an alien," a booming voice commanded, and Hodgins turned to see Booth swagger down the hall.

"Well, she's not human."

Booth gave him a steely look. "Tell her mother that."

"I will."

Angela took a step back. "I'll sell tickets to that." She looked at Booth. "How is she?"

Beaming, Booth replied, "Beautiful and amazing. She's telling the doctors what they should be doing, though."

"That's Bren. Did you two ever decide on a name?"

Booth looked at his newborn daughter, absently rubbing his stubbled chin. "Actually, we did."

Angela nodded impatiently. "And?"

"Her name is Brennan Joy Booth."

Hodgins stared at the FBI agent. "Brennan? Really?" He snorted. "You two have some imagination."

Booth shut him up with a scathing look. "We both like it, and if you want to keep your teeth, you'll agree."

Hodgins backed down as Parker came bounding around the corner, looking for his father.

He really did hate hospitals. But today, it wasn't so bad.

The End!
