Valentines Special One-Shot.

"Richard get up." Kori nudged his shoulder.

All she heard in response was a groan and Richard's hand grasping a pillow to pull over his head.

"Richard." Kori whined.

Silence.

Sighing Kori got up from the bed, placing her feet in her pink fuzzy slippers.

Noticing the weight leaving the bed, Richard poked his head out from under the pillow.

"Where are you going?"

Kori turned around to face him as she put her robe on.

"So now your talking." Kori questioned as she walked to the door and gripped the door knob.

Before she could pull it open, Richard was by her side gently removing her hand from the knob.

"I'm sorry." Richard said sincerely as he started pulling Kori back to the bed.

Kori shook her head, he was not getting away with this so easily. Noticing that Kori wasn't following him he let her go and walked back to bed.

"Richard."

"Hmm." Was Richards muffled reply as he laid sprawled on the bed.

"Your unbelievable." Kori stated as she walked out the bedroom.

Kori gripped her robe tightly as she walked down the stairs. How could he forget what today was? Today was the day couples spent together, simply loving each other. And he just blew her off. Kori really hoped he had planned something, but as it seems she got her hopes up.

Shaking her head, she reached the kitchen door and pushed it open. Nothing could have matched the shock and surprise written all over her face.

The once plain kitchen of a marble granite counter and stainless steel appliances was now coated in various shades of pink and red balloons. One the counter were a dozen red roses with a note attached.

Kori walked over to the roses and clutched the note, flipping the seal open she pulled out the card.

A Dozen Roses For A Beautiful Lady

R.G.

Kori smiled as she looked at Richard's signature. So he didn't forget.

"Enjoying yourself." Richard said with a smile as he leaned against the kitchen door.

Kori laughed as she walked over to him wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier…the roses are beautiful." Kori whispered in his ear.

"I know something else that's more beautiful." Richard smirked as he saw Kori's rosy cheeks.

Kori pulled back from the hug.

"Today is going to be the best Valentines Day of my life." Kori said with a smile as she closed the distance between them.
