Naruto and Sasuke lay in the grass, arms open and feet apart. Their heads opposite from another and their eyes wide open. They look at the stars and try to forget about the mission they were on. It was quiet. Everything was perfect and peaceful.
Inside of Naruto's energetic mind many thoughts rush in and out his head. Then one flashback came up. Naruto flipped onto his stomach and rested his head on his hands. "Oi, Sasuke," he called.
Sasuke turned onto his stomach. "Remember when we were kids?" Naruto smiled at his thoughts.
"Hai," Sasuke smiled and rolled back onto his back, "The stars, they're so peaceful. Sometimes, sometimes I wish…."
Naruto crawled next to his friend and sat up, head tilted back toward the sky, "You wish what? Tell me Sasuke."
"Sometimes I wish all this war was over…and…"
…But hold your breath…
"And I could be yours," Naruto finished for him.

tonight will be the night that I will fall for you,

Sasuke sat up and blushed a light pink, "Exactly."
Naruto's face moved slowly toward his and their lips collided. They shared a most passionate kiss of true love that most spend their whole life searching for.
