Vanilla's POV
Vanillasighed and flipped her wavy silver hair over her shoulder it was asmall habbit of hers.
Alot have changed since she moved to Tulsa and most of the changes she didn't like."Next stop Tulsa please exit on the right" a voice came on the announcer I slowly stood up.
'WellVanilla here you are you moved away from Canada all the way to Tulsa, Oh god I am so not ready' I thought to myself I slowly walked outside to seemy cousin Steve run up to me. "Hey Vanilla" he said waving me over I ran over to see more then justmy cousinin fact there was three or four guys with him. they weren't the typeI grew around they where different the type of guys on the wrong part of town.
"Hi Steve" I said he grinned and hugged me I returned it "Hey cuz" he sounded like really glad to see me "hey I'm really sorry about Tyler"Steve said softly I feltthe tears threatening to spill and they burned like acid "th…thank you"I tired to saybut I felt a smalltare in myvoice as flashes appeared in my head I never forgot those images'stop it stop letting it hurt you why! They killed him I hate them I will kill them'"Vanilla you alright?" Steve asked putting his arm around me "y..yes" I stopped the thought of having the killer's blood on my hands made the tears stop.
I had never gotten over it at all it was only two weeks ago that Tyler was shot by her boyfriend, who was a Soc. that is why she never forgot that he lived here' I suddenly began to cry silently tears falling down my face I tried to hide them. "I'm sorry here I am crying where you are so nice to me I'm sorry" she said sniffling a bit trying to stop"don't worry its no problem.
Vanilla this is Soda- Pop Curtis" Steve said Soda smiled atme I smiled backSoda stared at her'was that anillusion but did Ijust seefangs?'"what?" I asked weirdly. "Oh nothing" he replied flashing me another one of thosegrins kind of reminded me of Tyler.
I just sighed "and who are the rest of these boys?"I asked forcing myself to smile
"that's Darry, Pony and Two-bit"Steve said they all smiled back
Steve POV
"Steve what is with her?" Soda asked me "she's been through a lot of rough times and I mean pretty tough she has been through a lot I don't know how she's gonethrough it all and now Tyler's dead" I sighed "sounds like she fits in perfectly" Two-bit said.
Who had listened in I knew that Katie had amazing hearing and could hear things in Africa she turned "so any ways where we going?" she asked "The Curtis' " I said "um okay" she replied and we hopped into Two-bit's car he sped at an insane speed.
Katie just sat there "its getting pretty dark" she said to me I nodded "yeah a little it's almost eight," he said. Katie looked at Two-bit "can you go a bit faster like as fast as this car can go" she asked Two-bit the others stared at her. "Sorry Katie but oh fuck" he slammed the breaks there was traffic here to California Katie's eyes widened I wonder what was bothering her suddenly a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes rode over on his cycle "hey Ray" she said he smiled those strange grins "who the fuck are you?" Steve asked him.
"Ray, Hawk and it's a pleasure to meet you" Ray replied with a slight greeting look Katie smiled "well boys its been real see you later" she said, Ray and her rode off leaving a stunned Steve yet pissed Steve she was defiantely going to hear about this.
