(A.N: This is mainly my first story, based on an idea that had randomly spurred into my mind. Hope you like it! To know: ******* is a time skip, or a cut. Italics represent thoughts of the main character.)

Prologue

A brief echo came from the hall of the cavern. Voices and footsteps came to her, Who are they…

The sounds became louder. A light filtered into the cave, figures standing in the doorway.

"This is the one?" A deep, masculine voice sounded.

"Yes. We found it laying there, on the ground." A lighter, more feminine voice replied.

"Good, I want it to be tested, its powers may be of use." The figures stooped to the pokemon's level. Watching it. "Not much of a mover.." The deep voice concluded. "Get it ready… the legendaries are growing restless, especially with this one being here.

The pokemon raised its silver head, looking at the figures. Where am I…

She felt a slight pain on one of her paws, and she felt drowsy. The last she heard was,

"Goodnight, little one."

Chapter 1:

A crash was heard from the stairs below, knocking me awake from my bed.

"Nothing happened!"A small shout was heard from my small home. Shaking his head, I get up, looking at the messy room.

"GRAM! WHAT DID YOU DO!" I screamed at the top of my lung, I make my way through the mess.

This is my world, the pokemon world. Many know about the causal realm, the hero's story. Running out into the world, no worry at all, becoming the champion of Kanto, no trouble at all. Life isn't fun and happy like that, it's difficult. People can't, and haven't understood it. I don't have any chances in this world, and Gram doesn't make it easier. I've lived with her as long as I can remember, I don't know much of my own parents, just that they've never been there. There I go again, trying to narrate my life again… I shake myself, looking around. I'm already in the living room? Did I blank out for that long? "Gram?" I look around, seeing a pile of fallen boxes,"Gram! What happened here?" Gram sheepishly pops her head out of the pile.

"Sorry, sorry… I was looking for something…" She turned, evidently attempting to hide something. Not wanted to question her, I nod in response.

"It's fine… I'll be in my room, if you don't mind.." A small nod was all I got from her, as I climbed up the stairs, back to my room. I look into the large mirror, peering at my short, spiky black hair. Placing my hands on my head, I think, No girls will like me at this point. I walk to the bookshelf, grabbing a book. Trainer Studies… this again. Flipping my page to my last mark, reading quickly through the book. Until the final chapter, Individual Skills,"Unlike pokemon, trainers each have a random skill set. Ranging from capture, to breeding. Commonly found around the age of 11, these people will use these skills to decide their fate.

Battling

These trainers specialize in strategy making, and have insane prowess at trainer battles. They commonly become ace trainers, and even champions. However, they are not the only ones.

Breeders

These trainers have a prowess at taking care of pokemon, enhancing their skills, and abilities. They can often become many types of trainers, and many people take it as the best trainer class.

Capturer

Some of the most trusted trainers, these people become officers, as they have the ability to stop rampaging pokemon by catching them, over battling.

Combination

These trainers gain certain abilities of their pokemon, becoming stronger, and gaining abilities limited to pokemon. "

The list goes on and on, but it ends abruptly with the final ones. The T's. Laying down, I close my eyes, thinking. I don't have any talents. I'm 16 now, and yet, I haven't discovered a single skill. Before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.
