I made it myself. Black, with a red Phoenix on the front.
I sigh. Yes, I made it specially for you, but I'd never dare to give it to you.
What would you think? What would you say? How would you react?
No, I'll keep this safe in my drawer...

Well, no reason to be thrilled about it. Nothing is going to happen anyway...
Still I take the card.
Gently opening it.
I take a pen.

I snap out of my dreaming when I hear Takao's voice.
I quickly close the card.
"Yes?"
"Are you coming? We're going to the park..."
I smile.
"Sure."
I stand up and walk out. Joining my 3 team mates.
In my haste I forget the card on my desk...

"Rei?"
Strange. No answer. I knocked already 4 times.
I feel a slight worry inside. Had something happened?
Softly I push the door open.
No Rei.
I walk in.
"Rei?"
Just then it hits me. They're in the park.
I want to turn and walk away, but something on the desk caught my eye.
'No, it's from Rei. Not my business.'
Still I step closer to take a better look.
A red Phoenix on a black background.
I hold my breath. It's drawn beautiful.
I gently take it up. It's a card.
When I open it, my eyes widen.
My name is standing on it.
This wonderful card is for me?
I quickly read the text.
I shake my head. A soft whisper escapes my lips.
"Impossible..."

Well, we're back.
God, Takao was so much fun... You could say: plain stupid, but that would be mean.
I smile and push my door open.
However it disappears as snow before the sun...
The card.
Midway our walk I realised it was still on my desk.
Now it is gone...
I turn when I hear my door close.
My eyes widen in shock.
You're standing there. The card in your hands.
I shake my head. My face pale as death.
No, this can't be.
You weren't meant to find out...
I feel my heart crack at the cold look in your orbs.
I close my eyes. Fearing what is about to happen.
A tear falling on the ground.
Suddenly.
Soft, warm lips touching mine.
My eyes shoot open. A heat creeping to my cheeks.
You pull away. A small smile. Your eyes sparkling and shinning.
You lean closer, whisper in my ear. "I love you to..."
Our eyes meet. You're honest.
My hand on your neck.
I crash my lips against yours.
A soft moan.
Pity that the need for air makes us break the contact.
"So, can I keep the card?"
You laugh softly at my surprised face.
I blush.
"I'll take that as a yes..."
