Alice was so focused on Angie, and her story of her father that she didn't hear his breathing or his heartbeat as he roamed the halls in search of the girl. She didn't't hear him until he burst through the door, and with her inhuman speed she pushed Angie behind her, and pointed her gun at the figure, while he had his gun pointed right at her heart.

Alice glanced down and she saw the little red dot trained at her heart, and she looked back up, raising her eyebrow at the smirking figure. She felt the butterflies in her stomach as she studied his handsome features. She could smell the virus heavy in the air. Alice couldn't tell if the scent was coming from him, or her and Angie until he coughed. She could practically hear the virus as his heart betrayed him, pumping the infection through his body.

For some reason however, she couldn't bring herself to shoot him. "When were you bitten?" She asked, as she pointed her weapon away from him and into the air.

He couldn't and he wouldn't lie to her. He could feel himself drawn to her, and he was more than attracted to her, as if on cue he felt himself stirring in his pants despite the danger around them. "Three hours ago." He said, wondering how it was she knew. She surely couldn't see the bite as it was well hidden by his shirt.

She exhaled softly, she hadn't realized it, but she'd been holding her breath, and a smile slowly spread over her features. She stood on tiptoes, and whispered softly into his ear, her lips gently brushing over his earlobe. "Today's your lucky day Soldier." She slowly lowered herself back to her feet and walked off, feeling the same attraction, the same pull that he did but knowing she couldn't act upon it. She was a freak now, thanks to Umbrella. It was only a matter of time before everyone around her was killed or left. They all did eventually.
