He had a heartbeat. You did not.

"Roxas…. Roxas…. Where… are you? I… Need… You…Roxas…

"Axel? I'm right here…"

"Roxas?"

"I am right beside you, Axel. Look. See?"

Axel turned to the side to see his only best friend, only to see him vanishing into white and golden dust.

"Roxas? W-What is happening to you? Why are you vanishing?"

Roxas smiled sweetly and disappeared into the darkness.

-Life-Means-Nothing-

Sigh.

When is school going to end…?

"Roxas, pay attention!"

Huh?

"Please read the next passage, after that you may be dismissed to enjoy your summer break."

"Okay."

Okay… So... Let's see… Ah… okay… Here it is.

"Set your heart at rest:
The fairy land buys not the child of me.
His mother was a votaress of my order:
And, in the spiced Indian air, by night,
Full often hath she gossip'd by my side,
And sat with me on Neptune's yellow sands,
Marking the embarked traders on the flood,
When we have laugh'd to see the sails conceive
And grow big-bellied with the wanton wind;
Which she, with pretty and with swimming gait
Following,--her womb then rich with my young squire,--
Would imitate, and sail upon the land,
To fetch me trifles, and return again,
As from a voyage, rich with merchandise.
But she, being mortal, of that boy did die;
And for her sake do I rear up her boy,
And for her sake I will not part with him"

"Alright, then, remember, kids that when you return you will have a test out of this passage and if you memorize it, it will be extra credit. Now, enjoy your summer break. Good-bye."

Finally… The last day… for now. Sad, yeah. But at least we are going to the beach later on.

"Hey! Roxas! Over here!"

"Huh? Oh, hey Olette. Where are Pence and Hayner?"

"Oh, they're at the Usual Spot. They ran there right when school ended."

"Hah. Weirdoes."

Olette and I started to walk to the Usual Spot, taking our time talking to each other, wondering how we are doing.

"Hey, I see them! They are right there! Pence! Ha----!

Huh?! What just happened? Olette?! Did… Everything just… Stop?
