Death note. Lights end.
Light faced Near, the longest forty seconds of his life passed that moment as he waited for him to die.
Light had planned every think perfectly; he had arranged to meet Near, all of the members of the SPK and all of the remaining members of the Kira investigation team, they were all under the same roof and were all about to die.
The longest forty seconds passed, Mikami had completed his task successfully, every one died, only light was left standing.
Light, "Mikami you may enter." Mikami enters the warehouse with a sly look on his face. You have done well; you will become the guardian angel of the new world. Mikami smiles and replies "thank you God, I will happily serve under your command."
"Near would have won if he had expected there to be a fake Note Book, but it appears that you failed to think of the possibility, this is why you are inferior to L." Light thought to himself. "Now with all my enemies removed I can become the new God of this world, Kira!"
His first moves as the new ruler where to remove any links he had with the Kira case, he wrote down the names of all close to him including, Misa, Sayu and his mother; he then changed his name to Light Kami and when Mikami was no longer of need he wrote his name down.
Light started afresh as if nothing had ever happened, he got married to an intelligent young woman and had a child. He now had everything he ever wonted, almost, people still committed crimes.
"Why are these people still committing crimes if they know they will be punished is there nothing I can do to purify this world!" Thought light as he watched the news with his family, "There is nothing more I can do, at this rate I may end up killing everyone on this planet."
One day Light came home he was destroyed; he had caught his wife cheating on him with her boss.
"Why did you do this to me Miyuki, I gave you everything you could have ever wanted!"
"I'm sorry, Light I don't know why I did it, it's just you've been so motionless lately, I was weak I needed something to stimulate me, I'm sorry."
Light grabs his note book and starts writing.
"Light? What are you doing?"
"I'm ending your life, for I am Kira."
"No, Light please don't I'm sorry! Don't kill me please I beg of you."
"There is no exception in the eyes of God."
Forty seconds passed and Miyuki died of a heart attack soon followed by Toshiro, Lights son, as he now saw him to be corrupt by his mother.
Many days passed, Light did not leave his house.
"Die, die, die, die..."
Light had realised that there is no pure soul upon humanity and had began to kill every last human. He started by killing the people he could find using the internet. But after three days he realised he would not be able to finish the deed.
"Ryuk, I have a deal to make with you."
"Have you finally realised you neither have enough time or pages of the Death Note to kill very one?"
"Yes, and I was wondering if you would..."
"Kill everybody on Earth!"
"Yes, well will you"
"I can but there is a price"
"I don't care just do it."
"But I must tell you, the price for your actions will be to become one of the shinigami, except you will be tortured for eternity.
"I don't care, the only way to cleanse this planet is to kill everyone on it, so I am prepared to pay the price" Light laughs in a insane way.
"Then it shall be done."
Forty seconds past, then nothing all of humanity was destroyed with a single sweep all of its creations and dreams abolished with a single flash of "Light".
This was how the world ended. Light became a shinigami and was tortured for eternity. Ryuk ventured to other planets and corrupted them similarly.
"The Life of one that has used a Death Note is a miserable one with a miserable ending, o well now, where are dose apples."
