Chapter 1

Tsuna leaned back on his chair and sighed. 'Finally, I'm done with all this paperwork!' He thought, tears of joy gathering in his eyes. Only 5% of his paperwork were from actual mafia business and the rest were bills caused by his destructive guardians. He cracked his knuckles, got up and stretched. A few pops coud be heard from his back. 'I'm gonna eat and then sleep for the rest of the day! 2 if no one disturbs me.' He thought happily. He almost skipped out of the room.

He opened the doors to the kitchen and made a beeline for the fridge. He moved all the condiments, milk cartons and pitchers to the side, pulling out a hidden piece of cake. It's a miracle Lambo hadn't found it yet. The next thing he did was go to the coffee maker and made himself an espresso. It's one of the few things Reborn rubbed off on him. He sat down, took a bite of the cake and a blissful expression appeared on his face. He sipped his espresso happily. His guardians were all out on missions, even Reborn, so he really does have a day off (well, half actually). No noise, no fights, no explosions, and more importantly, no paperwork! He grabbed his fork, cut a piece of the cake and held it up to his mouth. Nothing could ruin this. He spoke too soon because in his bliss, he ignored the tingling sensation at the back of his head and seconds later, a speeding object burst through the door and was coming at him, but he was too slow to react. He watched with wide eyes as he was engulfed in darkness. Reborn was going to kill him.

"There, finished!" Giannini exclaimed as he wiped the sweat off his brow. Spanner was on his right, sucking on a lollipop while Shoichi was on his left, looking sick and holding his stomach.

"Giannini, are you sure this is a good idea?" Shoichi asked. Something bad was going to happen. He could just feel it. Taking Lambo's 10 year bazooka was bad enough, tampering with it was worse. Giannini waved his hand flippantly, "Of course it's a good idea! I'm only upgrading the bazooka so that the effects last longer."

"Then why did you put rocket boosters on it?" Spanner asked.

"For a quick get-away!"

Shoichi and Spanner gave him a deadpanned look. Giannini coughed nervously. "Let's go and test it!" Spanner and Shoichi quickly took cover behind one of the lab tables. Giannini stood in the center of the room holding the bazooka with shaking hands. He took in a shaky breath and started his mental countdown. 3…..2….1….

And the bazooka was hovering off the ground. Shoichi and Spanner looked on, mouth agape. "Wow. It actually works." Spanner said in amazement.

'I was wrong. Nothing bad happened.' Shoichi sighed in relief. A second later, the bazooka started sparking and flew off. It was ricocheting off the walls of the lab.

"Duck!"

And everyone did. Just in time because the bazooka flew over their heads and out through the lab doors. They stared at the lab doors for a few seconds.

"After it!"

They ran through the corridors chasing after the flying bazooka. Maids and butlers jumped out of the way as it flew past them and through the kitchen doors. When the three inventors finally reached the doors, they heard a 'POOF!' and suddenly pink smoke was everywhere. They coughed and swatted away the smoke. They walked until they were in the middle of the room. The smoke slowly dispersed revealing a bundle of clothes on the floor and the bazooka right beside it.

'Why is there a bundle of clothes in the middle of the kitchen floor?' They all thought. Then the bundle shifted, revealing fluffy brown hair, wide brown eyes, and a cherubic face.

The trio and the child stared at each other in surprise. 'Wait a minute,' the three thought, 'that child looks familiar. Almost like…' and then it clicked.

"VONGOLA?!"
