Frozen Kiss

"You can do this Mega. You have to do this" The former pirate captain muttered to himself.

Taking a deep breath, he knocks on the door in front of him. The one belongs to his … nemesis.

"Stya? Are you there?"

"What do you want?" A rustle later, the pirate captain opened her door, her face twisted into a familiar scowl

"It's … it's about the other day" Mega nervously replied.

"What other day?" Her tone was still cold, though Mega noted – hopefully – that it wasn't as cold as usual.

"It's, you know, that battle with Uda's replica?"

"… What about it?"

The axe wielder wanted to run when he saw her glare intensifies, but then he noticed something that he would never thought possible: There, on her cheeks, spots of red were forming. They were very faint, but Mega was sure that they were there.

"Do you… do you really hate me that much? Even though we were friends once, why do you always act as if I'm your most hated enemy?"

"…"

Seeing Stya's hesitation, Mega decided that it was now or never. She was probably going to kill him for real after this, but he have to say it now, or he'll never get the nerves to say it.

"Because I - I really like you, for a long time now. It's strange, right? Even if we used to be childhood friend, who in their right mind would still like someone trying to kill you? I mean, for some reason, I can't take my mind off of how beautiful you look even when you're trying to murder me, or how you look really elegant in that dress, or how you're still so graceful even when you're full of rage, or how you have really beautiful eyes and that I wanted nothing more than drown in them, or how I really want taste your lips again, or-!"

Sama Kingdom Navy's admiral found himself interrupted when the Mother Snow yanked his scarf and smashed her lips onto his. His eyes widened, and before long he found himself fighting a battle for dominance with the white haired woman.

His memory became somewhat blurry after that, but he was quite sure that he didn't return to his room that night.
