Snow twirled around the trees and buildings, coating the ground with a blanket of pure white. Light grey clouds covered the sky, but patches of equally grey sky could still be seen through the patchwork. Bare trees were soon dressed in white, quivering slightly with the cold, winter wind.
Houses of all shapes and sizes looked nearly identical; they were topped with snow as well, each roof seemingly the same under the blanket of white. Candles could be seen from some windows, while in others, electric lights lit up the glass panes, giving off a soft, warm glow of golden light.
In the only brown house on the block, an angel could be seen sitting by the window. Was it actually an angel? You wouldn't have been able to tell by just a passing glance. The teenaged boy looked as if he had fallen down from heaven and floated down to Earth by accident. He must have.... He looked positively angelic.
He wore an icy blue, silk robe, and his fine golden hair was drawn up into a delicate ponytail. Honey-colored eyes scanned the snow-covered ground from the safe haven of the house he was inside of. His expression was one of content; a little smile played on his face as he took in the scenery around him.
A light hand - or was it a glove? - came to rest on the angel's shoulder, causing the blond to look up and over. The angel's small smile grew a thousand-fold, brightening the entire winter sky. The sun peeked out from behind a cloud and shone down on the brown house. The angel smiled back at the sun before standing to hold the gloved hand. He left his spot by the window, and the sun retreated back into the clouds, waiting for the moment when the angel would return and brighten the world once more.
Full of sin, yet retaining a small sliver of innocence
Golden hair, woven by the gods
Honey-colored eyes, bright, intelligent, and sharp
A fiery temper, but compassion unlike any other
Forever learning
Forever loving
Forever and ever...
