Isaac Westcott is seen at his company watching the news on TV about how the recent ruler of England will do everything in his power to support Deus Ex Machina Industries for the greater good. He is pleased with this. It would be only a matter of time he would be able to make all the Spirits go Inverse and obtain their Qlipha crystals for himself.

Just then, he hears his cellphone ringing. Who could be calling him at a time like this?

"Ellen, are you watching this?" he answered the call, expecting his strongest Wizard to be calling him, but he got no response. "Ellen?"

"I have a Remington Model seven hundred sniper rifle pointed straight at your head," the voice from the phone spoke in a threatening tone, causing his usual sinister smile to fade and replacing it with fear. What the voice said is true; the scope from a sniper rifle is now aimed at him. It's as if he's being targeted at this moment, even when it's being done at a distance.

"Elliot..." Westcott said with fear, recognizing who is calling and targeting him at the same time.

"The bullet travels two thousand nine hundred feet. If you try and move, you're a dead man," Elliot threatened while aiming the rifle at his former friend. Also, he's young again. "If you think about calling for help, especially Ellen, you're dead. If you think about using your powers as a Spirit, you're dead. This means you need to do exactly as I say. Do you understand?"

Westcott looks speechless on being threatened. Of course, this goes to show how he fears Elliot due to the fact that he's once a powerful Wizard and is reminded on how he was shaking in fear from the last time they confronted each other head on, which cost him one of his arms.

"Do you understand?" the now youthful man repeated.

"Elliot..." the half-Spirit tried to speak straight despite the fear he's feeling right now. "I thought you wouldn't do something so reckless that would cost you of your innocence."

"You're right, Ike. I wouldn't do something so reckless that would cost me of my innocence. However, after all that you've done, there's no way I'm letting you go this time," Elliot countered.

"What do you want?" Westcott demanded.

"I want you to call the recent ruler of England, and you will surrender to him once the press conference is over."

"What am I supposed to tell him?"

"How about the truth, Ike? Tell him everything you have done up to this moment. Everything."

With the scope aimed at him at the moment, Westcott has no choice but to follow to the demands of his old friend. He thought he had everything planned, but it looks like he overestimated him once again which resulted in his downfall.

Elliot is seen smiling at this, having finally convinced the mastermind of Deus Ex Machina Industries to surrender so that the war can end without having to kill him. Then again, he's a pacifist, unlike Westcott.

All it took was a sniper rifle to end the war.
