(Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans.)

Raven was asleep her dreams were of darkness, of war.

Robin dreamed also, of being a hero of saving the day.

Cyborg dreamed of the accident that changed his life forever.

Starfire's dreams were light and airy dreams of happiness and friendship.

And Beast Boy dreamed of his parents, of their deaths.

Then Raven sensed fire, and smelled smoke. She stood up and flew to warn the others, but Robin beat her to it. "The Tower is on fire!" "The Tower is on fire!" he screamed.

Raven flew to the mainland and the rest of the Titans followed. Raven look around at the horror on her friends faces, the look of hopelessness and despair. She studied them and realized that Beast Boy was not among them.

Her heart beat faster and faster till she flew back to the tower. "Raven where are you going?" Cyborg asked, but she couldn't stop, the life of one of her dearest friends depended on it.

As she neared the flames she could feel the heat, she could see the sparks of red, and smell the thick smoke. She flew into the Tower, the flames surrounded her. "Beast Boy!" she called more concerned for her friend then for herself.

There was no response. She flew blocking the flames with her magic. She flew till she reached a wall of flames, she couldn't breath anymore. Even the dome of magic around her mouth, didn't block out all the smoke.

She sputtered and coughed, but kept going. She flew over the flames till finally she reached Beast Boy's room.

He wasn't there. She screamed knowing that she couldn't stay any longer, but also knowing that she could give up. Then she saw him, he was unconscious on the floor. And then she sensed that he wasn't unconscious, he was dead.

"No! Beast Boy no! Wake up! Wake up now!" she cried shaking him knowing that it was useless, that he was already gone.

She wanted to sit there to cry by his side forever, but she couldn't or death would come to her too. "I love you, Beast Boy I love you!" she cried fleeing the tower.

Once outside she cried, if she had came sooner the smoke wouldn't have filled his lungs, and he would still be alive.

No more dumb jokes, no more nonsensical happiness, no more Beast Boy.

"Raven where is he?" Robin asked having realized why Raven went back. Raven cried, and cried not wanting to answer, "Gone," was all she could say, "Dead." "No!" Cyborg cried. Starfire cried, even Robin cried.

But Raven cried the most, and she swore that she would never love again. It was too painful, too risky. She couldn't have this happen again, so she couldn't love.

Beast Boy was her first and only love and now he was gone.

"I love you Beast Boy," she whispered through her tears starring up at the Tower engulfed in flames. "I love you."

Sorry that it was so sad, but I've been wanting to write a sad one for awhile. Hope you liked it and please, please review. But no flames please; ha-ha flames how ironic.

THANKS!
