Draco Malfoy burst angrily into the Headmaster's office. "What are you playing at making Zabini Head Boy? I was supposed to be Head Boy!"
The somehow miraculously still alive, Dumbledore's eyes twinkled, "Whatever do you mean, my boy?"
"Don't act like you don't know! This is supposed to be the year that I am Head Boy, and Granger's Head Girl. We fight, we snog, yadayada, epilogue. Boom. We're married. None of this can happen, if Zabini's Head Boy!" Draco finished, panting. His pale cheeks were flushed red, in anger.
Dumbledore summoned Hermione and Zabini to his office, and ten minutes later they were all seated around Dumbledore's desk. "So...Mr. Malfoy, you claim that you must be Head Boy in order to fall in love with Miss Granger..."
"WHAT?" Hermione yelled, in protest. She had not recieved this memo. "What in Merlin's name are you talking about?"
Zabini's eyes widened, "NO! NO! NO!" He shook his head, "Everytime you two are Head Boy and Head Girl, I get stuck with the Weaslette. Not going to happen in this bloody lifetime."
"And what's wrong with Ginny?" Hermione asked, angrily.
Blaise smirked, "Have you got all day?"
"WATCH IT ZABINI!" She yelled, scowling.
Zabini looked at Draco expectantly, "Well? Aren't you going to tell this mudblood off?"
Draco's eyes widened, "DON'T CALL HER THAT! I'M IN LOVE WITH HER!"
Hermione banged her head on the Headmaster's desk. "Merlin, help me."
"Are you alright, sweetie?" Draco asked her, concernedly. She merely just glared at him, wondering when fate had decided that being friends with the boy-who-lived, just wasn't exciting enough for her.
Zabini huffed, crossing his arms, "This is disgusting."
"I agree," Hermione said wholeheartedly.
Dumbledore smiled, as Draco tried to place himself on Hermione's lap. It seemed, at last, his charm for House Unity had worked.
