Yes, Supernatural is a chosen genre because of the show. MWAHAHA!
The first sentence, And these things just come naturally to you? is a prompt from writeworld on tumblr.
Did anyone else see the promo for season 4?
Disclaimer: OUAT belongs to Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis
"And these things just come naturally to you?"
Emma's concentration breaks with the china teacup she was levitating as a certain, accented voice interrupts her.
"No." She sighs, making a broom move to sweep the mess up. "I have to think about it."
"Aye, it will come easier to you with practice." Killian seats himself on the couch. She notes that he stays far away from the tv remote, that innocently lies on the other end of the furniture.
"Like adjusting to a new world." She teases.
"Shut up." He grumbles.
"Oh come on, it's not that hard. Look." She grabs the remote and turns the tv on. Before she can say she loves the show that's on, a gunshot rings through the apartment and in an instant two things happen. One, she's on the floor, one heavy pirate pinning her down. Two, the tv explodes. "What are you doing?"
He looks around wildly, then sees the smoking television. "Your infernal magic box exploded."
"No it didn't. That gunshot was from Supernatural, the show that was on. I think Dean just shot a cowboy. Damn I missed that episode." Emma pouts.
"Well lass, that doesn't explain why your bloody box is shooting sparks."
"It happened right when you knocked me down…" Emma muses. "By the way, thanks for saving me from Winchester."
Killian's learned to ignore her modern day references, and takes the thank you with a smile. "So, was that you?"
" I think so. That came naturally to me." Emma lightly pushes off the floor, and he comically slides off.
"So you respond to sudden things? Like a defence mechanism?"
"I guess."
"So if I did this," Killian grabs her waist and captures her lips with his own. It definitely takes her by surprise, if the exploding light bulb is anything to go by.
By the time they separate, both gasping for breath, he's smirking.
"What?" She says breathlessly.
"I'm just thinking of what it would take for the power to completely combust."
