The weather was dreadful. A dark black-purplish sky, baleful clouds.
Raindrops spiky as needles. Alicia couldn't feel her face anymore.
Her icy fingers were crooked around the Quaffle. Death grip. Flew straight towards the hoops.
The wheezing sound of a whistle. The game was over.
Finally.
Her whole body was numb. The sharp rain had turned her eyes red, tingled feeling in her hands, ached.
Alicia showered for a long time. The changing room was empty when she was done. The pitch dead, roaring winds swept over the grass. She shuddered.
A woman stood by the exit. Short, curly hair. Glasses.
"Congratulation to the victory. You made me win twelve Galleons."
Walked side-by-side. Wet clothes stroked against each other.
"Heading for the pub?" the woman asked.
Alicia looked at her. "You watch every game."
"I'm a big supporter… So, beer?"
"Well, I'm a bit tired. I actually want to go home."
"Just one glass?"
"Fine, one."
The pub was crowded. A funny smell of wet clothes.
"I'm Penelope, by the way."
"Alicia."
"I must say, you look marvelous on a broom."
Alicia looked at Penelope over the edge of her glass. Wasn't quite sure what to do. "I have a boyfriend."
Penelope took a deep gulp. "Not even bi?"
