Crisis on Uranus
Queen Uranus stands on the balcony outside her bedroom, watching the flashes of light in the sky from the battle approaching her planet. Thankfully, the Uranian army has been able to slow the enemy down and fight in space, saving time for the planet.
'The worst part about this is that Michiru insisted to come,' she thinks to herself while watching the faint explosions. 'Everyone urged her to stay within the safety of Crystal Tokyo, but once she makes up her mind, especially in cases like this, there's no changing it. Thank Kami-sama Miranda's not like that. It took some persuading, but she eventually consented and remained on Earth. But now I have Michiru to protect along with my planet, and I don't think she realizes what a burden she's put upon me by coming'
Someone walks up behind the queen and gently massages her tense shoulders. She rolls her head slightly forward at the soothing touch.
"The battle isn't letting up at all," the deep male voice informs. "I fear they'll reach the planet by morning"
"The Martians still haven't responded"
"Communications are still down there. We received a transmission from Queen Mars a few hours ago saying she was doing everything possible to clear it up"
"By the time they are informed and get their ships and soldiers out here there won't be anything left to defend"
"Uranus-sama, don't say that! Though we can't rely completely on the Martian army to get us out of this, if our forces stick to the battle plan we will be triumphant"
"Anything to protect my people." Uranus turns to the general. "Do we have enough defensive forces ready incase they reach the palace"
"Hai, my Queen. We won't let"
There is a sudden explosion extremely close to the balcony they are standing on. The general immediately jumps in front of Uranus to protect her from the blast. When it clears, a man floats in the air above the edge of the balcony.
"Do you think you can protect her"
"I will until I die"
"So be it." He raises his hand and blasts the protector back into the palace. With an evil cackle, the man magically lifts Queen Uranus into the air in front of him. "Uranus, what a pleasure it is to finally meet you." He reaches out for her hand but she draws it back.
"Do you think I am helpless?" She raises her hand to collect energy but finds the simple task impossible.
The dark man laughs at her failed attempts. "You cannot summon your powers in the presence of pure evil"
"Nor can you in the presence of true purity."
