Characters: All the Pirate Lords, Will/Elizabeth
Rating: PG for drunken behavior
Summary: It's been five years since the EITC was run off, and the Pirate Lords are celebrating. Drunken antics are generally the order of the day.
Author's Notes: This was written off of a prompt that lolitalockhart over on livejournal asked for. She wanted the pirate lords getting drunk! How do they act, what do they do? What kind of drunks are they? And here you go. This is unbetaed, but cheerful mayhem like this doesn't really need to be betaed.
Captain Will Turner watched the cheerful mayhem around him as the Pirate Lords celebrated the fifth anniversary of their victory over Beckett and the East India Trading Company.
Captain Jack Sparrow did not act any different drunk then when he was sober. Jack wasn't acting any different, but Will knew that he was drunk. No mortal could drink three bottles of rum and not be drunk.
Captain Barbossa, on the other hand, was actually a quiet drunk. He was a lot calmer, and he didn't try to start any fights, not even when one of Jocard's men tripped over him.
Will tried not to laugh, grateful that Barbossa wasn't making any more work for him. The Cove was technically on the ocean, and as such, if Barbossa had killed the man, Will would have had to ferry him. Of course, that also meant that Will was able to attend a celebration of a victory he'd been instrumental in bringing about.
Gentleman Jocard tried to pull his man away from Barbossa, but Jocard wasn't exactly steady on his feet and fell over Barbossa as well.
Will chuckled as the three drunken men tried to untangle themselves, Jocard proclaiming all the while that no one was to touch his necklace.
Nearby, Ammand the Corsair and Mistress Ching were listening to Gibbs as he told some wild story. Will had heard the phrase "sea turtles" more then once. Ammand seemed to be attempting to seduce Ching, but the Chinese lady had rebuffed him several times already tonight. Though each time, it took her longer and longer. Will thought that they might end up leaving the hall together. Assuming they could leave the hall by the end of the night. If Ching was taking so long to turn Ammand down, she must be rather deep in her cups.
Sri Sumbhajee was currently laughing at something Tai Huang was saying. His high-pitched chuckles were making the people around them laugh, though doubtless both Tai Huang and Sumbhajee thought it was the story. Will chuckled.
Capitaine Chevalle and Eduardo Villanueva were matching each other drink for drink. The two Lords had a rivalry and Will knew that the one to outlast the other would have some sort of bragging rights. The winner would also probably try to kill the loser, as well, which is why members of both men's crews were watching them fairly closely. Currently, their rivalry had them to attempting to out-sing each other. Badly.
Beside him, Pirate King Elizabeth Turner (and Will's wife) laughed as she watched the other Pirate Lords. She, too, was rather tipsy, but that only made her very giggly. And very affectionate; she kept kissing Will. Will wasn't complaining.
Will leaned down and kissed her, long and hard, and they only broke apart when they heard laughter and cheering.
"Oh… go back t' th' par'y," Elizabeth slurred out the order.
Will grinned and took another drink of rum. He wasn't drunk, but then again he had found that it took quite a lot to get him drunk ever since he'd become Captain of the Flying Dutchman.
That was not a bad thing. It was quite amusing, being one of the few sober people in this room. He'd learned that well before he'd become a pirate. And Pirate Lords made for very amusing drunks.
