Kink: rescue scenarios
Morgan had a beer in one hand and the channel changer in the other when his cell rang. He put the beer down and silently hoped it wasn't a case when he saw the caller id.
"Hey, baby girl," he said when he answered, "What's up?"
"I need you to come get me…right now."
Derek stood up, already reaching for his keys at the desperate sound in her voice, "Where are you?"
She rattled off an address and he immediately knew it was bad just by the area.
"What the hell are you doing there?"
"I'm on a date with that guy, you remember, Mike, and well he said his friends were having a party so I came. There version of partying seems to include some pretty heavy duty drinking, drugging and well….just please come get me."
"On the way beautiful, you didn't drink anything, did you?"
He could almost hear her eye roll, "Of course not, I'm not an idiot. I'm in one of the bathrooms, locked in."
"Stay right where you are. I'll come in and find you when I get there." As he started driving, he was glad he'd brought his badge and piece. That would definitely speed things along if any of these guys tried to get pushy.
He heard a banging through the phone and a voice yell, "Hey baby, get out here, we want to party." He heard the bang again as Penelope gasped and whimpered, "Derek."
"Ten minutes, Penelope, just hang in there. Tell him you're fixing yourself up. Just sound relaxed."
He heard her clear her throat and then her voice came out, and he was proud that no one but him would be able to tell something was wrong, "I'll be right out. I'm just…fixing my make up."
He didn't hear what happened next, but he heard Penelope's voice a few moments later, "Okay, he's gone for now. How close are you?"
"Five minutes," he sped through a yellow light and prayed there were no cops around. He had no time to explain things, no time to even flash his badge. He had to get to Penelope, "Almost there, sweetheart."
"Okay, just…"
"Penelope, Pen, answer me!"

The phone dropped from her hand as the bathroom door started to shake, "Come out!" her date screamed from the other side.
Desperately, feeling like she was going to throw up she pressed against the door to hopefully keep him out until Derek got there.
It felt like forever but finally she heard that familiar and powerful voice through the door, "Hey, get the hell away from there."
There was some sound and then Derek was knocking on the door, "Its okay, Pen, you can open the door now, baby girl."
She opened the door slowly, practically throwing herself at him.
"Hey," Mike said, "Where the hell do you think you're taking her?"
"Out of here," Derek said, "And if you don't want half the police department here in the next five minutes," he continued as he flashed his badge, "I would suggest you stay out of the way."
Mike's eyes widened and he stood back as Derek pulled her out of there. He guided her to the car quickly, making sure she was safely inside before getting in his side and taking off.
It was about then that she started to cry.
"Hey, baby girl, don't do that, hey, its okay." He pulls over, and pulls her against him, "You're okay now, I'm here."
"What's wrong with me, Derek? Why can't I just date someone nice? Why do I keep getting stuck with such…morons?"
"Because, baby," he said, kissing her forehead, "There is no one in the world good enough for you."
She couldn't help but smile at that and snuggled closer to him, "Thanks, gorgeous."
"Any time, goddess, anytime."
