Love in My Life
So this is what it feels like to be in love.
To feel so much affection to one human being, even if they are really only half human;
To feel your heart flutter every time his sea green eyes find yours;
To feel dozens of butterflies in your stomach every time his lips brush against yours.
So this is what you'll do for love.
Refuse the offer of godhood to not be alone;
Fight for a relationship that the smartest being in the universe disapproves of;
Jump into an endless pit of darkness to save your other half.
So this is what you think when you're in love.
