As I stepped gingerly toward the front door of bucks, I had but two things on my mind.
Ponyboy and sneaking past Dally.
My tiny pale hand was about to wrap itself around the doorknob when suddenly-
"Lucy, where the heck do you think you're going?!"
Crap.
I turned around slowly and met the the cold eyes of my only brother, Dallas Winston.
I grinned up at him sheepishly, "Wouldn't you like to know." He attempted to look annoyed but I could see the slight amusement behind his big blue orbs. "Don't get mouthy with me pipsqueak." He threatened.

Anyone else would be down right horrified if Dallas had talked to them like that, but I just giggled softly. My name is Lucille or 'Lucy' Winston and I'm Dally's 'kid' sister. I just turned 14, and my older brother Dally was way overprotective of
me. I was a greaser girl for gods sake! I could do everything everyone else in our gang can do and I can do it in heels.

I rolled my eyes at Dally, "I'm going to the movies with Johnny and Pony." I monotoned.
I opened the door and strode out, Dally followed behind me.
I glared at him suspiciously, "Where are you going, Dal?"
"With you, Pipsqueak."
I growled at him as menacingly as I could.
It obviously didn't intimidate Dally, cause he just smirked and told me to lead the way.
I'd known this was going to happen.

We met up with Pony and Johnny on the corner of Picket and Sutton. They weren't surprised to find Dally standing causally beside me, smoking a weed.

"Hey Pony, hey Johnnycake."

"Hey Lucy." Ponyboy replied instantly.

Pony was the handsomest boy I'd ever seen, he had tuff reddish brown hair, and green eyes that you could easily get lost in. But his looks weren't the only thing that I liked about him. He was smart, so so smart, smarter than I could ever hope to be.
His head was in the clouds, and he let his imagination run wild, he was innocent, and pure, and kind, and had the greatest capacity for love I'd ever seen. I haven't found a word yet to perfectly describe Ponyboy Curtis, and if I do, I'll let
you know.

Me and Pony and Johnny have been best buddies since forever, and I'd had a crush on Pony since as long as I could remember. Lately though, I've realized what I feel for pony has gone from a school girl's crush to full blown love.
If only he felt the same way...

This is the prologue and probably the only chapter in Lucy's point of view. I realize it's very short! The rest of the chapters will be in Ponyboy's perspective. R & R
