Ann comes out of the bathroom in her cleavage-baring nightgown and watches her lover. Sue Ellen turns around and finds her staring, but soon notices something is wrong. She frowns as she looks at Anns tearful eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Sue Ellen walks over to her, worry written all over her face.
"Oh it's nothing," Ann says as she fakes a smile, but Sue Ellen can see right through it.
Sue Ellen tilts the taller woman's head down a little, "don't lie to me. I can see right through it." After over a decade of being friends and then basically family with the woman she is able to read her mind.
"I just feel bad about doing this to Bobby. Especially with you." Ann can't look into Sue Ellen's eyes as she speaks. She loves her, but she also loves her husband.
Sue Ellen practically forces Ann to look at her.
"We've been through this. Sometimes you just can't help the way you feel." Sue Ellen explains to Ann as she touches her cheek. She knows this is hard for her. Being caught between two people she loves. Betraying one of them. Sue Ellen wanted nothing more than for Ann to be hers and only hers, but she knew this torrid love affair would have to suffice for now. It was that or nothing.
Ann nods and then kisses Sue Ellen. She loves both of them. Bobby is her husband, but Sue Ellen is intoxicating. Even if she wanted to end things she couldn't, she is addicted. And she rather liked this addiction.
