Emily listened intentally to the preacher as he spoke about the love the Heavenly Father has for us but she interputed when He said that Yahoua-shoua (Hebrew for the son of the creator) was special in the sense that He was the only begotten Son of Yahoua (Hebrew for the Heavenly Father) and we are 'just' adopted into His family.
"I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHAT YOU JUST SAID," the 6 year old commented.
"Now Emily dear," momma said, "The preacher is speaking"
"No let the child say her peice," the preacher replied.
He invited Emily up to the pulpet.
"I was adopted when I was 3 days old," Emily said, "and I have an older sister. YES my older sister is special and a pain in the neck sometimes and yes she is loved dearly but want to know something? My parents love me JUST AS MUCH as they love her. Being adopted is not a just. It is special because you are chosen."
The preacher looked at her apologietically.
"I did not mean to imply that as adopted children we are less special. In fact we are more special in some ways-"
"No. My sister is just as special as I am but the point is we are different. It doesn't matter if we are adopted or if we are biologically begotten. My sister and I are both children of my parents. Adopted and biological children are children none the less. When it comes to the SON OF THE HEAVENLY FATHER He is special. He is special for many reason but the most important reason is that He loved us enough to DIE for us. He loved us enough to teach us to be loved and to love. He is definately special in a way that we aren't but that is not because He was begotten. He loved us and that was what made Him special."
